Her picture has been taken down by her agency, LA Direct, and she doesn't live in LA or attend industry events. From what I can gather from her MySpace page, she's happy hanging with her rocker boyfriend.
Based on my observations, Lexie (who entered the business, doing photo shoots, at 18 years old) decided she didn't like the porn reality/lifestyle and fast life in LA, which she may have indulged too much in. She may have been influenced by what she saw happening to other, young female pornstars, who took up drink & drugs.
So when Vivid tried to up-the-ante on her sex scenes (anals, multiple partners, IR, rough sex, etc.) when contract renewal time came, she realized she could still walk away from it all--and keep her civilian boyfriend. Which may not have been the case if she re-signed and stayed in the biz.
History tells us that there's a 50/50 chance she'll return to porn...but if she does, at least she'll know exactly what to expect. And will be making her decision with the life knowledge of a twenty-something year old woman--not a teenager.
