Although the quality is not great i.e. ocassional pauses, jumps etc. The player is adequate for when I am travelling. However, recently, the drive is making strange noises and is alot louder than it was before. The general quality is still the same, although I have noticed one or two more pauses than usual. My question is this, "Can an actual DVD be damaged by a DVD player/drive?" Should I stop playing my DVD's in the laptop?
