This leads on from my "sensous bj thread" but after watching Andy San Dimas and Diamond Foxxx I thought about starting this thread. Andy always seems light hearted in her scenes and enjoys a bit of banter and I was watching Diamond and Phoenix Marie do a scene and Diamond was on her knees giving a cracking bj and she slowly peels off her top and gently chucks it at the guy Phoenix is with and smiles. Is porn far to scrited i.e bj, rcg, cg, cumshot or does anyone else find the light hearted aproach a turn on? Whats wrong with having a laugh and some decent foreplay

There's nothing wrong with sexy slow foreplay. Tiffany Tyler had one amazing scene that was very passionate.
I don't have any problem with "serious" erotic teases, etc., but serious dialogue never works. The only good dialogues I've ever seen in porn are ones that are humorous. For example, JM's "Girlvert" series, and scene 1 from "virgin territory" with Haley Paige and James Deen. Edited by - htb066 on 12/6/2009 6:23:31 PM
My chief complaint with porn is that it is over directed and therefore too business like. Everyone approaches sex in their own way. Some people are playful and fun sexually some are intense and serious. We would enjoy these differences if the directors wouldn't micro manage them out of the production. Porn would benefit from a director with a light touch.
haha thats just me :) i'm glad someone can appreciate the fact that i never take myself too seriously...sex is fun and being too serious is a turn off. i'm always myself! Edited by - andysandimas on 12/7/2009 3:26:44 AM
One of the reasons I've always enjoyed performers like Evan Stone and Gianna Michaels is that no matter what they are doing they always come off as playful. I can't think of a time where I've seen Evan Stone in a movie and not thought "There is a guy who just wants to stop what he's doing and yell 'Holy shit, I'm getting paid to fuck!' and start laughing." I like light hearted.
I'm glad you enjoyed one of my scenes. Which scene was it that you liked so much, so I can keep this in mind (and possibly site this when I play around a bit in the middle of a future scene)?

It was called White Trash. The one where your pimp is disappointed with the money you earned. Before he tries to leave, you tell him to not go and you talk about how lonely you feel or something like that. That scene was mad fucking hot! I loved the music too!
OMG!! That scene was soo fucking hot. I kept giggling through the dialogue, but once we got to the sex it was so intense it almost felt wierd to be doing it in front of other people. I didn't know White Trash was out yet, gonna have to watch that scene myself.
Love the comment about directors needing to have a light touch and Andy San Dimas not taking herself too seriously. I will have to rent the dvd with that scene in it.
You might pose this question in POLLS. It may attract a larger response. I often think porn acting is way overdone, and it's done with the gravity of cancer surgery when all you're trying to do is get off. I always associate sex with fun and lighthearted and being playful, but I don't see that much in movies.
Porn actresses are chosen for their looks and not for their acting abilities. And for this reason, many porn actresses probably can't put on the kind of 'fun' act you describe. And it has to be an act. Because the situation in the studio is totally un-natural as far as the sex and the filming goes. These actors and actresses stop and go with their fucking on commands from the film director. And it's pretty hard to be all smiles and spontaneous in a situation like that. But virtually all women can smile, when asked to do so. And if they practice their smiles. Then they can smile pretty good for the camera. And I certainly would like to see more smiles from the porn ladies during the sex-action. When the lady smiles in response to the guy entering her pussy or ass. Then this shows her pleasure a lot better than any hollering or distorted faces she might make.

There are at least 27 volumes of this title and you are asking if porn is too serious? Mel Brooks is more serious than the porn industry.
It really depends a lot. Sometimes performers (or directors) who are clueless try way too hard (and still fail) to make porn that's actually arousing. Sometimes it can be really cute if the female is playful and sometimes it neither hurts nor helps.
I understand the point you're making, but-- 1. no matter how low you set the bar, some people are going to limbo in below it. You may as well demand something satisfying. 2. I know it's hard. If it were easy, everyone would do it. Some people are able to do it anyway. I'm not a big Marilyn Chambers fan because physically she doesn't do it for me, but I enjoy watching her work because she always looks like she's having a blast. It didn't look like she was on a mission from God; she was having a good time. 3. Most important: I think it comes from mainstream, where sex is typically shown in this overwraught, gothic romantic form. How many movies have you seen where there's a love scene and suddenly we get the Barry White music, dark, shadowy figures twisting in a bed, fades and slow pans and the wind wafting the white silk curtains in the window and all that shit? Most of the time. My favorite sex scene in any movie is from The Tall Guy, where Jeff Goldblum and Emma Thompson nearly destroy his apartment during the act.

/signed.. but srsly, some models try to act professional. But in a wrong manner, they act like they are some model in paris on a catwalk. And that's, well, not so hot :D I love it when the models are smiling & laughing. Everything else looks totally fake.
