Is redlight district closing down their splinter studio's? I see they have taken over the Alone in the dark line and the Candy shop and Amature district websites have not been updated in a long time. Plat x is still being updated but not fast, Whats going on?

There was another thread about this not to long ago. The answer is yes, they are closing down Candy Shop and, I assume, Amateur District. PXP they will keep for now, but with fewer titles each month.
But never fear, John Strong, everyone's favorite male talent, will still be in almost every scene.

Can somebody tell me why everyone hates John Strong so much? I don't get it. I mean, I've seen him in scenes. He isn't objectionable looking and doesn't seem to do anything really objectionable. True. His performances weren't stellar but I can't think of many males who deliver stellar performances. He's just a regular looking and acting porn star. What gives?

I really have no problem with him as talent, but his films as director seem overall to be rote and unexceptional. They aren't terrible, just middle of the road. So many people around here seem to be fans of directors like Jake Malone or Jules Jordan, myself included, and there is a reason. These guys have an authorial voice. You know when you're watching a Jake Malone film, no doubt about it. He has a point of view. Mr. Strong, unfortunately, doesn't. Maybe he will develop one with more time, but he seems to have been directing for a while and it all still seems a little generic.

Mainly, it's because he has a small dick by porn standards and because he shows up in so many scenes I'm just sick of seeing him.

Agree with basically everything Porn Scout mentions, but can I add that he is very robotic which isn't exactly the best way to sum up a porn performer.
He must get through a power of work though as he seems to pop up everywhere - as well as fitting in his full time job of appearing in every RLD scene released over the last 18 months.
