Yes. Shortly after the release of Fashionistas she announced her semi-retirement in an interview with Scott Fayner at lukeford.com. She moved out of her home in porn valley and made the decision to go back to being g/g-only, working in such scenes whenever she actually wanted to instead of needed to. The reasoning she cited for this decision was a growing concern with the direction the adult film industry was heading, both in health risks (remember, when she performed creampies were still very rarely done) and product being produced (new girls, new girls, new girls!).

I'm on a Taylor St. Claire bender tonight and after searching through her on the forum I came to this one. The poster I wanted to ask a question is deactivated so I guess it's dumb to ask a question to somebody who can't post anymore. I am curious to why he can say so confidently that she got a higher rate because of who she is and that money was her motivation. They made it worth her while. I am sure this is probably all mostly true but it is just said in such a matter-of-fact way and I always wondered to myself how much she got paid to do such a tough scene. I was just hoping that there was some substance to that post and if that guy was an insider or just a knowitall. Now I guess I'll never know...sorry about all the Taylor threads since she is pretty much irrelevant to the porn world these days. Just a blast from the past. Is she coming back? I say no way Jose.
