I wanna see the stories." -Scott on Girlfriends Films 149 Posts 7/10 | Am I the only one out there that's really impressed with the acting we're seeing across the board these days? Are we talking about major network/big studio quality acting? No. There are no J-Laws in porn. But is the acting, perhaps for the first time since the 70's, consistently good enough to actually suspend disbelief and immerse oneself into the fantasy portrayed? Quite possibly. There have always been a few actresses/actors that have stood out in any era of porn. But I personally don't think there has been an era where there has been so much, performed so well. What do you all think? [Link] |

I thought Cherry Torn and Veruca James were absolutely amazing in Deception. She didn't have much for lines, but I thought Sara Luvv did a great job with the character of Ronnie in Babysitting the Baumgartners. |

FWIW, I know some of this also boils down to much better production in general. The directors and editors are definitely doing their part to put the performers' best foot forward. All I know is that I'm happier with the state of things in vignette/feature land than ever before, at least as it pertains to acting. Edited by - ScottMcGowan on 10/20/2016 6:45:55 AM |
