Today in 2020 this type of porn seems to be in decline. Lisa Ann is retiring for ever. Kendra Lust, Ariella Ferrera and others are only shooting for onlyfans. Veronica Avluv is also thinking about leaving the industry. Francesca Le only shoot one-two scenes by year. The business has a lack on new hot milfs. I think the milf style is diying. And you?
I don't know if it's dying but I hate the fact that besides few sites like the ones on Scoregroup (50 plus milfs and 60 plus milfs) there are very few scenes with milf over fifty especially on big sites. It seems that the big companies tend to use mostly women in their early forties or even younger or much younger than that. Becoming often basically regular porn but sold as "milf" genre. If I'm watching a 32 year old woman there's nothing special, I mean she could be very hot (like a Nicholette Shea) but it's not my idea of a milf but more of a regular performer.
And that means too that a lot of hot women who were doing a lot of scenes magically disappear very fast after their fifty birthday, as milf fans was only about new faces like those into teen stuff. Sometimes I wonder if a lot of producers even understand the thing they are selling and what people really want. Of course a lot of people have different tastes, but I know there are a lot of persons who would like to see real sexy mature women instead of the "very young milf"/stepmom (because how you could justify the fact that the milf is just like ten year older than the guy? STEP-mom!) genre that is everywhere.
I think it would help if a few more actresses didn't have really, REALLY fake breasts

Exactly, milfs have battle scars including tits that have seen better days when it comes to perkiness. A lot of them who've had implants obviously have no idea how ridiculous they look.
By no means do all mature actresses have implants and of those that do many look fine. I think the problem is that only the Score Group know what they're doing when it comes to showcasing 50+ women, and even some of their scenes lack imagination.

In my opinion, on a certain level, the milf genre is dead. Lisa Ann, Julia Ann, Francesca Le, Ava Addams and so on, were the last women who worked with talented directors and a budget. There were tons of scenes with Milfs who shot for Mason, JJ, Chris Streams or William H. When was the last time Mason shot a Milf? Of course you still get scenes with Milfs, but often from low budget studios with a terrible quality. It's the age of the skinny teenager and every studio is jumping on this bandwagon.

You are right. I have seen that Francesca Le is still shooting porn (as performer for her own compagny). Milf pornstars who continue to shoot pro porn (and no focusing on onlyfans like Ariella Ferrera or Kendra Lust) are becoming very rare: Syren de Mer, Alexis Fawx, Brandi Love, Reagan Foxx or Cherie Deville... For how many time now. And Brandi and Reagan are still shooting the same type of boring scenes (same guys, no anal and so long). Very sad!

One of the problems you all have to realize is that the term 'MILF' has been repurposed from its original definition. When you thought MILF 15 to 20 years ago; any woman 40-45 and up was what came to mind. Now we have a dilemma because any performer I want to say over the age of 25 qualifies as a MILF so it's not that it's dying so much as it is being rebranded. Oh and most performers shoot for OnlyFans & private websites because the idea there is more control over the content with theoretically less chance of theft. There are some criminally underutilized older performers like Magdalene St Michaels who have alot more moves in them and you also have the issue of studious reluctant to pair two MILFs and let them go at it. Usually it's always one older, one younger.
If in a scene that is supposed to include anal, the cover of the movie says like "anal queens" and then there's no anal at all, and everybody in the industry would do that, would you consider it ok the explaination that "anal is not dead it's just been rebranded"?
^ I suppose he would be just as pissed as I have been the countless time I bought an anal VHS tape where my favorite performer was the only one not doing the deed but it's quite a different thing here because we aren't talking about an act being performed but a marketing decision. A MILF is technically any woman that has children but in porn it can usually be any woman above a certain age. That age will vary from time to time but above 30 tends to be the minimum in most cases. The entire pseudo-incest wing of the porn industry rarely uses age as a benchmark when it comes to hiring and marketing of porn scenes. They often pair performers that are clearly too close in age to play the roles they are assigned but it's porn. When it's done right than it looks and feels right but good luck finding those scenes.
Personally the genre milf is definitely my favorite and I don't care AT ALL if a woman has children. That has never been what the Stifler's mom genre is about. It doesn't turn me on to think that a woman has a kid waiting for her at home. To me milf genre is about mature women, possibly with much younger guys. Like the old meme says, "if you're under forty and you have a kid you're not a milf, you're just a bitch with a baby". It's a bit rude, but it says what I and many other think. If I'm looking a 30 year old woman to me it's just not a "subgenre" or a "niche", it's just regular porn. I could like that because hey, I like also young women but it's definitely not what I'm looking for, that is instead a woman with a guy young enough to be her child or grandson (the "incest" part to me is totally irrelevant). That means a age difference of twenty, thirty years of more. I think it's normal today for many women to have children in their mid thirties, so that's a realistic age difference. This is what I expect to see, the legit stuff:
If I see a 32 year old woman with a 25 year old guy... there's not that "spice" I'm looking for. It's just regular porn to me. And basically the vast majority of the "milf" stuff today is like this (actually the vast majority doesn't even consider the "young guy" factor, they throw in whoever performer they have). And I'm pissed about it exactly as you was for that VHS.
A few years back Dana Dearmond and Asa Akira ran a crowd funding thing to get Dana implants.
In the pitch for it, they said that in the industry the "MILF" category had come to mean an actress over 30 years old with implants, and that Dana's prospects for working in porn past 30 would be very limited if she didn't get them.
