It seems that every other interview I read with female performers, she mentions something about the Tarot, Wiccans, astrology etc. Is occult practice that pervasive in porn? Or is it just dilettantism?
I am a witch and it's no secret I always have been as I practice the old religion which is a goddess based religion. Maybe us as women in porn feel more connected with our inner goddess and practice ancient beliefs instead of a religion that teaches you something in order to put the fear of god into you. I have no shame and am in total control of my life and am proud to be a sexual goddess with an open mind.
I had a fling with Wicca shortly after I threw off the shackles of Christianity. I was unhappy with the concept of a religion based on lack of power. God will handle it. God will punish. God will reward. God sees your pain, but does it anyway. You can do any horrible thing, but as long as you TRULY repent, God will forgive you. Hmmm.. no thanks. Moving right along, it seemed like Wicca gave the power back to you. You made the choices, you were good or bad, or neither. You were responsible for your own actions, and their repurcussions. This life, here and now, mattered more than some nebulous reward or punishment that happens later. Hmmmm... cool, and it comes with gadgets.
Ultimately, I tossed it all. I guess I just don't feel the need for any form of religious practice. I'm only me, and I don't care if there is a creative force or a great plan. I'm gonna do what I want, now, for this life, and if there is or is not something later, at least I will have had this.

Well at least you understand that being who you are and harm no one unless it's to protect yourself then you understand Karma and yes everything you do in life has it's consiquences good or bad. To many focus to much on heaven and hell instead of what's right in front of them or around them mother earth.

Some porno star was on Howard Stern a few months ago with Carmen Luvana talking about how she was a witch. I don't remember her name I think it was like Julie Blue or something. She was cute but not great.
I love women who express an interest in the occult, be it witchcraft, psychic phenomenon or other paranormal activities. It shows that they are very open-minded and aren't afraid to explore different realities of perception.
I think the occult is widespread over the planet much more than the puritans would like to accept. so in any field there will be people who practice a lifestyle other than the "conventional" church.
I think all religions have something to offer the mind. even if it is simply that you find you don't believe that way. I find the tarot fascinating, which led me to read some of the kabbalah... and it goes on forever
