^I don't think it's a good idea to make the anus 'numb'. Because without being sensitive to pain the lady wouldn't know whether she is being injured or not. And this can result in some pretty serious injury for her.
Plenty of ass-stretching type of preparation and lots of lubrication is what enables the porn ladies to perform anal sex as they do.
The anus and the rectum are not naturally designed for sex. And that's why special preparation and artificial lubrication are both necessary before anal sex in order to avoid serious injury for the anal lady.
