Hi there,

Does anyone know if ebay sells dvd porn or if there is a similar type website to sell and buy porn. I'm new - so if this has been covered in length- forgive me.

Ebay has an adult section. To enter the adult section, you can select 'browse', then 'mature audiences'.

There's a new site coming in December that will be similar in concept to Half.com but for adult DVDs. You can see their beta version in action at AdultDVDMarketplace.com

I don't know much about them. I've been dealing with them primarily on a technical basis. They seem like a good group of intelligent people. I think their site is going to be sucessful.

I've had a lot of success using Half.com to sell my used items and have wished on more than one occasion that they had a section for adult DVDs. That new site looks good and I'll definitely give it a try.

i do think everyone should throw some support to the new and growing auction sites. ebay doesn't want the porn even though it makes them plenty of money. i get tired of "mainstream" companies like ebay shunning porn but taking the money.

For those of you that have started using Adult DVD Marketplace, your listings are now available through our price search. Listings for new items appear in the center section of the page with all of the retailers. Used item listings appear at the bottom of the page along with the rental, video on demand and cross-sell links. I just enabled this functionality about 30 minutes ago. If you see any problems or something that looks strange please drop me a note.

Drew, is there any way of getting the used listings price to show up as the price search returned price when searching? I personally don't care if a DVD is use when I search, I just want the lowest available price. In order to find used dvds with the tool the way it is structured, I have to click through to each title to see if a used one exists (or go to Marketplace to check). It would be much nicer to allow for a profile setting to say "include used DVDs in searches" or something like that.

Nope. It's an unfair comparison to list used prices with new prices.

At some point I'll rewrite our advanced search page to enable searches for used items, streaming video and rentals.
