I've always wondered, assuming you're a resaonably good looking woman, reliable, easy to work with and people want to see you fuck on camera...will you be able to find work on any day you want to work?

Every day, no - any day, yes, for at least a week. I'm pretty sure any reasonably attractive woman could find a week of work in the adult film industry just doing new girl shoots and bj only shoots. After that it gets a tiny bit tougher, but if she did well and was easy to work with there should be another three months of steady work without having to do anything outrageous or beg for shoots. Then, maybe it gets a bit less steady, unless she's built up a good reputation, made good contacts, and developed a look of her own (even if she's not typically gorgeous). After 6 months of constant shooting, it's anyone's call. Either she's in demand or she's shot out, it's up to the viewers. Her product moves or it doesn't. Keep in mind that a porn work week isn't like an office job work week. One project(scene) a day, five days a week, for one year, with two weeks off for vacation, would be 250 projects (scenes). It's highly unlikely that a person could keep up that pace, or that there would be that much demand for their product. Not impossible, but highly unlikely.
There's still other work in the adult industry, at that point she can move on to feature dancing. Reasonably steady work, if her name draws at all and she's willing to travel. If she managed to get a magazine layout or two that's not difficult.
Beyond that, if she's ambitious and intelligent and resourceful, maybe she can find off camera/off stage related work in the industry. Being your own boss, and the boss of others, is tough stuff, and a big if. That's where I believe the real work in the industry is, though. The real money, too.
