Jeff Stryker, who was basically the gay Jenna Jameson at one time also did some straight movies well after he was a huge star on the gay side. There are other examples as well, but while I know the facts about those two guys, I would basically just be repeating rumors if I mentioned others because they are much less sure in my mind. There is an enormous section of the gay porn world that is concerned with whether particular actors, despite the fact that they appear in gay porn, are in fact straight in their personal lives. They discuss this the way we discuss breast implants and whether girls do interracial. It is a huge whomping deal on the gay side. It may very well be in the interests of gay stars to do some straight movies to burnish their reputation with their gay fans. Whether straight directors or actresses would welcome them might be a different story though. [Link] |

Either they are bi, or they are straight but don't mind. Rumor has it that Peter North was short on money when he entered porn. There was probably more money in gay than straight porn.
