I have a few questions: Do you think Joone will do any more Island Fever videos? I like his work Are there any more titles like the Island Fever videos (artsy)? On AdultDVDEmpire, IF4 (the one without Tera Patrick) seemed more popular. Do you like the Island Fever videos with or without Tera? Both Tera Patrick and Jesse Jane are very beautiful and sexy! You might also try Adam & Eve's Sex Island or Caribbean Undercover. Since it appears that the music only soundtrack doesn't bother you, I'd also suggest checking out some of the movies Celeste's made for DP. Read a few reviews for Celeste's movies to decide which to watch as some can be very playful while others can get a bit intense and fetishy. Most current porn directors don't come anywhere near having the skills he has with lighting, composition, or the ability to create a series of strong visual images. These sexvids also need beautiful girls--and, IMO, today's porn doesn't value beauty over willingness to do extreme sex. So the number of females who can look stunning in a natural setting with a minimum amount of make-up is limited. But, as you point out, "Island Fever" has sold very, very well. And it won many AVN 2007 Awards, and recently won in the fan-voted awards at the 2007 FAME event. So even in this era of the Gonzonistas, there are still plenty of us who will buy well-photographed, beauty-themed porn. As for more product, besides what has been mentioned, you can go back to the beginning of the video porn era and find sexvids like "Surrender in Paradise" and "The Pink Lagoon" featuring a very young, pre-star Ginger Lynn. And Jill Kelly produced a couple of Island Fever like sexvids: "The Perfect Pink in Hawaii" starring former Vivid Girl, Devon, and Jill, and "Best of Perfect Pink" which includes some non-tropical island scenes. Since I mentioned former Vivid Girl, Devon above, it's surprising that the most successful company in porn history has not tapped into this market. They've always had the beautiful girls, but what seems to be missing is the willingness to invest in location shoots, and the talent behind the camera to pull it off. The only two examples I can remember of Vivid doing tropical islands shoots are "Big Isand Blues" with Lexus, and "Tropic of Eros" with Jenteal. Vivid's recent "Where The Boys Aren't 18" had a steller cast (including Lexie Marie, Tawny Roberts, Mercedez, Tera Patrick, Briana Banks, Monique Alexander) and was suppose to take place on the French Riviera--but was actually shot around a swimming pool in a backyard in Porn Valley.
