I don't understand how fisting could be considered obscene. Anyone who sued over that I would haul in Rachel Maddow and about two dozen other lesbians who could testify in a court about how fisting is a normal part of lesbian lovemaking. And to make it illegal and obscene is tantamount to a hate crime
The name "fisting" reminds of a serious medical complication. Other than that I can't see why it shouldn't be in "mainstream" porn, but I would think seeing girls getting fisted in every movie would get old really fast.
Fisting is already "mainstream" in that you can readily find it on a variety of dvd's and websites, performed by well-known pornstars. Actually I prefer this fetish/niche treatment because it probably results in better overall quality of fisting action. I'm not so sure that the mainstream American porn industry is capable of producing consistently good stuff. I suspect there would be a rash of 3-finger and 4-finger and half-fisting action being labeled as "fisting", and we'd still have to rely on the Europeans and the websites to get our fisting fix.
