| wakejock New Member 1 Posts 9/07 |  Posted - Sep 18 2007 : 3:00AMhttp://www.lmtribune.com/breaking-news/434/ PULLMAN — At the request of the Pullman Police Department, the Whitman County Superior Court issued an arrest warrant Monday night for Christopher Jack Reid, 25, in connection with the sexual assault of a woman at a Washington State University sorority. Reid, a.k.a. Jack Venice, was last known to have resided in the Los Angeles area and had previously lived in Houston. He is described as 5-foot, 8-inches tall, 150 pounds, green eyes, blonde hair with a buzz cut. He has a tattoo of a solid triangle on the back of his neck and a tattoo that displayed an ammunition belt around his right thigh. Charges on the warrant are rape in the 2nd degree, burglary in the 1st degree, two counts of residential burglary and one count of attempted residential burglary. All are felonies. It was 9-20-07 when he returned to Washington to turn himself in!! IAFD lists 22 movies in 2008 for Jack, plus one College Amateur Tour directed by him in '08. It sounds to me like he may have done something wrong, but it certainly doesn't sound like it was rape. As in, if your partner is convicted of rape, a crime that certainly has some relation to his sexual habits/beliefs/feelings/whatever, do you stay with him? Do you forgive him? I know she was sticking by him for a while and proclaiming his innocence, but do you continue to do that once a person has been convicted? It would be kinda shitty to turn on them after many months of having their back, but at the same time I doubt anyone would blame her if she didn't want to date a convicted rapist. I'm honestly not sure what I would do if I were in her shoes. I hope I never have to find out. [Link] |
