Jade is very bright, well grounded and has been around long enough to know the business. She has an Excel spreadsheet of every shoot she has been on. She knows all the studios and who does the hiring. She is a hard worker, with plenty of energy and spectacular looks. With all of this, she probably doesn't need an agent. But, it's a challenge doing it on your own. You want to be as efficient as you possibly can and get the highest fees you can negotiate. A GOOD agent takes care of all of that for you. With a mediocre agent (and there are plenty of them), a talent as good as Jade doesn't need them. On the other hand, a good agent like Spiegler could get her more gigs that would easily cover the agent fees. In her interview with Captain Jack, she predicted she would be in the biz for at least five more years. She seems to be right on schedule. Perhaps a dedicated personal manager might be better for her, but it's hard to say. HBO "After Hours" has been creating new content. She would be perfect. As I've said before, a reality show of her crossing the country being exactly who she is and interacting with ordinary people would be a big hit (IMHO). (Think Sarah Silverman rated almost X) Doing what she's doing, I would buy stock in her product, immediately. Looking forward to the ride!! [Link]
