The AVN site has a phone interview, yesterday, with Janine in which she says that she has a deal to do two comeback videos with Vivid (shooting to begin on Jan 25th) and that she will do anal in at least one of them. So every comeback does up the ante a little: b/g & IR before, now anal. These new Vivid videos, however, are on hold because yesterday a judge ordered her back to a halfway house in Oregon because she violated her probation by lying to her P.O., telling him that she had a non-porn job, when she in fact was shooting scenes--like Brazzers. Not doing porn was a condition of her probation. The "good news" is that she will be free of the halfway house--and off probation--in September and then will be able to do anything she wants. So, she says in the phone interview, she'll shoot her porn scenes for Vivid after her release in Sept. As I've said before: I've been a fan of Janine's since "Hidden Obssessions"--but she seems totally incapable of "following rules." Even those handed down (right or wrong) from a judge. And she pays a price for her actions--which she seems to accept her punishment. Maybe that's why she is in porn: for the rebellion. I wonder what Dr. Phil would say? Janine appears to be a very trouble person. It's no wonder her daughter is with her dad. I don't think I will be seeking out, nor watching anything that she's done since getting out of jail. It's a very sad situation.
^^ It is becoming harder to tell if buying Janine product is contributing to some kind of self-destructive pattern that she's acting out. What's equally messed-up is that porn companies (including a biggie like Vivid) will hire her even though it's widely known in the industry that she is under court order not to do porn. Well I'll agree that it's ultimately up to her to follow the order of the court. From what little I know and have recently read, Janine seems to dispute what that order was and that she broke it. Said she did a have a regular job at a tattoo place (no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, please no more tats) and they simply didn't believe she was working there. It does look like she's gonna do her time and then (hopefully) be free to live her life. I try to cut present or former pornstars some slack because I know it's not always easy for them to work outside of porn. And personally I believe she's being held to a different standard simply because she does porn.

The arguments comparing her attempted return to porn to stealing are laughable imo and ignore an important distinction: while she is violating a court order, she's not harming anyone, unlike the thefts alluded to. i think the biggest violation issue was about associatig with felons. seeing as how she is now engaged to a known that she met while in the joint is going to be problematic going forward.
What really saddens me is not the ink so much (although I'm not a big fan of ink and to me it looks distinctly Navy enlisted, not something an officer would do.) I'm more disappointed about all this BS about her custody and being remanded to halfway because she's engaging in legal adult entertainment activities. This is how she makes a living, would it be better for society if she prostituted herself or sold drugs? It's sad but the heartbreak with the custody and the court's actions could force her into illegal activities. Sorry to disagree with you but there is no software to remove tattoos. You need a tech to remove them from each shot and there is no way this could be achieved with the amount tattoos Janine has on her body. The most common way Hollywood normally hides tattoos is with body makeup over the tattoo. It's not 100% perfect but good enough and cheap.
