OK...and a lot of us don't. Look, I'm not knocking JML. At her age, most women would give a leg to have her looks. i bought both movies. i liked the vivid scene better. Let me preface what i write with the fact i love janine. she is my all time favorite performer. she is really into both scenes. the biggest problem in mrs. behavin is it is shot in slow motion with no sound from the performers .there is a soundtrack which makes absolute no sense to me. she looks like she is really into the scene but you can't hear anything except a goofy soundtrack. in fact the whole movie is in slow motion with a soundtrack.i have read elsewhere that in the bonus features you can see the scene in real time with volume which is inaccurate as i can't find that anywhere. to me the vivid scene is much better because you can hear how vocal and into the scene she is.Janine looks great and you can tell is really into the scenes. one can only imagine if jules jordan or joey silvera or another great director got a hold of her. janine you are the best only wish i could have heard you in mrs.behavin.

Firs let me start off by saying I absolutely adore Janine. But this Mrs Behavin' movie from Digitial Playground sucked pretty bad and that's putting it mildly:
-False adverstising. The scene Janine does with Mandingo and another brother has condoms, so do the other two Janine scenes. Not to mention Mandingo had wood problems.
-The ENTIRE movie is in slow motion, terrible. No real time action.
-The whole flick has no direct sound, not even any dubbed moans and groans, it's nothing but music, and really bad music at that.
I never would have thought leaving Vivid could be a bad thing for Janine, but this movie was much worse than anything she ever did for Vivid.
I considered it a total waste of a $5 rental, and I'm a huge Janine fan and don't mind throwing away $5 on a rental just for the hell of it.
I'd like her to make nothing but lesbian movies. Just make an entire feature flick of her dominating or being dominated by other girls, lick some pussy and ass Janine style, throw in some strap-on action and we're in business. When I saw that Celeste had directed this one, I knew EXACTLY what to expect as far the music and the slow-motion is concerned. She makes very pretty porn. It doesn't appeal to everyone but I love it. I've bought and watched just about all of her DVD's.
She's collaborated and learned from Andrew Blake (see his feature Doll House) but where his features are predominanty G/G, her titles focus on B/G action. They're heavily stylistic but they still include elements like facials, anal and now interracial couplings.
I'm guessing this latest Janine film is drawing a new audience that isn't familiar with her directorial work, but I, for one, am glad they're someone out there making movies like this.
Well I for one was seriously annoyed by the directing/photography and the insanely inane music. The performers and their performances looked fine, i mean Janine looks more than fine whatever she does , but the visual style of the whole movie was, forgive me for saying so, the most un-erotic shit I've seen in a long time (thankfully), and ruined what might have been a really good experience totally.

Count me in among the detractors of this film. This is why I steer clear of Andrew Blake's stuff too. He and Celeste are wanna-be mainstream directors who make porn for people who don't want to admit they are watching porn IMO. The one and only saving grace of this DVD is that there is a decent amount of the action in the BTS with real sound, including the facial pop from Erik Everhard. There is also a bonus scene between Janine and a girl named Sophia (not the blond with bolt-ons). Can't wait to see the Vivid one after this. I am profoundly surprised that I was able to type that sentence given my hatred for Vivid.
I haven't seen the movie yet, but if you have complaints you should definitely do what lenny did and express your displeasure to the company who makes the films. It may not get the situation changed, but it will at least bring it to their attention.
Unfortunately I'm in the "Miss Behavin' sucks" camp as well. I can't tell you how much I was looking forward to seeing this flick. Janine's been one of my faves since she hit the porn scene. The thought of her being paired with Mandingo was absolutely mind blowing.
As mentioned previously, the actual sound would have been nice and the music was some idiotic cheesy tune to boot (think Deep Throat theme). The scene had zero pacing (slow-motion hell!) and little heat, despite Janine's efforts. Wonder if the shoot's pacing reflected this and lent to Mandingo's wood problems.
But now my real bitch! They bring in Mandingo and you barley see him penetrating one of the hottest porn stars ever! The lighting is awful! The editing is even worse. We get to see the other dude do some reasonably up-close poking, but next to nothing from Mandingo. I'm not asking for a fucking gyno exam, but it would have been nice if they would have moved the camera within 50 feet of Janine's gorgeous pussy while Mandingo fucked her. Such a waste! This could have been a real porn milestone instead of a complete disaster.
Thing is I'm not generally a Bunny Luv/Celeste hater or anything. She's one of my favorite porn starlets and I've watched a number of the flicks she's directed. With Janine you just wonder if you'll ever get the opportunity to see this again (or for the first time after viewing this crap) and the disappointment is huge.
