Some of them have been edited to remove piss scenes etc. Some have subtitles added. Most of them are low budget movies especially compared to some US productions. There are some distributors who import foreign movies for US like Tip Top, Third World, but most don't spend the money to add subtitles or voice overs -- why? It's too expensive especially for low budget porn movies. Tip Top has voice overs for some choice euro porn movies. I think the biggest problem with JAV movies are the pixelation though. You probably also have to have age verification records for US distribution. If you are a fan of JAV I think its cheaper and easier to find content on download sites like asianmoviepass. [Link] |

They already use voice recognition at some companies for customer support. So adding subtitles may become easier than and cheaper than voice overs which requires hiring voice over actors. [Link] |
