With western pornstars when I want to find out which movies and scenes a specific pornstar has been in I look for her on DVD indexing sites such as IAFD, scene indexing sites such as AEBN, or even non-legitimate porn discussion boards with actress-dedicated threads. I don't know of any IAFD/AEBN equivalent sites for JAV porn, the few JAV-dedicated boards I've found also don't seem to have actress-dedicated threads. With google's translate plugin it is now easy to visit japanese porn studios' websites(such as SOD-soft on demand's) but obviously individual studios will only list a fraction of a JAV pornstars' complete works. You can also try asianscreens.com, which has a page devoted to each idol and lists most, if not all, of her works, regardless of studio.  [Link] |

I imagine that if a good jav pornstar index site exists it would be a japanese site in japanese, not one in english. The people there are extremely knowledgable and very good at identifying obscure actresses. It's been around for many years now. Quite a friendly place as well.
