i was looking through the japorn screenshots at avfantasy just now and all of it is uncensored. i havent looked at these in awhile but weren't all the private regions completley blurred out not too long ago? is this a change in japanese law?

Many JAV (Japanese Adult Video) titles have been sent to places like Taiwan and with some new software, the AV censorship, that annoying mosaic that obscured the good stuff, has been deleted. I've seen a few and sometimes the color is a little off and the focus isn't quite as clear as it could be. Some use the same technology that was used to implement the mosaic censorship and that de-censorship is seamless.
Many Japanese buyers look for the underground, uncensored material and it's just a matter of time before the Japanese will ease their laws and allow non-censored video titles to be purchased legally. Apparently, the de-censor software can be purchased in Japan and discriminating viewers are defeating the censorship that way.
The American and European markets for uncensored AV from Japan is growing. Before, many were disappointed when they bought or rented JAV titles with the mosaic or thin mosaic censorship and these buyers won't tolerate that nonsense.
Expect changes soon. Real soon.

What kind of de-censoring software are you talking about?

All those recent uncencored titles sold at avfantasy and other places were produced by companies they set up in the US. There is no mosaic to deal with to begin with.

Visit Google or your favorite search engine and type in 'JAV uncensored' and 100 or so sites will appear and some will announce that they have decensored JAV videos.
Most of those are geared for the Japanese and other Far East customers. The amount of available Japanese porn in the US and Europe is small and some guys will buy Japanese videos mail-order through companies located overseas and few want the mosaic or thin mosaic censorship. It's currently illegal in Japan to possess uncensored adult videos so the uncensored material is called 'underground.' It's usually confiscated and the guy pays a small fine. It's not considered criminal, more like a traffic offense.
There is a large demand to decensor older Japanese Adult Videos and those are the ones in big demand in the Orient.
By American or European standards, much of Japanese and other Far Eastern porn is vanilla. Sure they have bondage and scat, but mainstream videos are plain by our standards. They rarely have anal, they usually have lots of foreplay, toys are big over there and some videos don't even have intercourse or oral, just a guy doing a lady with toys and fingers. The ladies rarely talk much with their male partners, the ladies just moan and groan. Condoms are common.
Gangbangs and multiple partners are rare and if they do film that, double-penetration is very rare, expect vaginal and oral, but not much anal.
Pay a visit to some of those sites and you'll see what I mean.
