I was just wondering if there is anything to worry about regarding these sites. The reason I am asking is that on some of the DVD covers the girls look way too young. I am not talking about animated characters or the Junior Idols stuff, which is seriously dodgy. No, these are films with adult actresses but kind of depicted as really young girls, films from studios such as K-Tribe and Minimum. Is there a danger that being a member of site which had these videos could put you on a list or something, as although the performers are over 18, they seem to be depicted as much younger girls. I didn't want to link to anything, again, in case it looks like I am spamming, but if anyone wants an example of what I am talking about, I can link to the site. | zambi Senior Member 1451 Posts 3/10 | Posted - Dec 26 2014 : 9:00PM Problem with selling JAVs outside of Japanese market is ... 1. mosaic or pixelation of genitals In some cases you can get past this but because of this the Japanese have been forced to get more creative with their JAVs which in some cases has led to issue (3) below. 2. cost of dubbing or subbing dubbing = overdubs of Japanese performers using English voice overs subbing = English subtitles Some movies which have lot of elaborate setup or plot just won't go over as well with non-Japanese speaking viewers without dubbing or subbing. Private produced a LOT of great movies during the 90s which they often dubbed in multiple languages to get the biggest bang for their buck. But those were big budget productions that justified the cost. 3. obscenity issues Some types of scenes shot in JAVs would not be legal in U.S. in particular the Japanese love incest and rape themes. Regardless I still like JAVs but I would have a hard time justifying spending lot of money on them without fixing (1) and (2). [Link] |

I guess you could make the same complaint about some U.S. produced movies though. [Link] |

I understand the idea that sites like R18 are legit, but when there's no actress name available for a particular DVD, how can you be 100% sure that they are 18, especially when they look so young?
