Apparently he's also done "LES REVES DE KATIA" for that company. Somehow I wasn't associating his image (Assman, Matador) with a "sophisticated" porn studio like Marc Dorcel..

I have recorded Offertes à Tout 12, Fantasmes de Minettes last week from French porn channel XXL. I haven't watched it yet, but the fact that they aired it means that it is at least 6 months old. btw, its seems that Le Castel is not working for Private anymore. The Xtreme series is being handled by Gianfranco Romagnoli now, who is also responsible for a new Private line called "Sportline".The Offertes à Tout series is produced by VMD themselves. The series was started by the late Michel Ricaud in the early 90s and has been revamped several times, by other directors, such as Marc Paris, Christophe Clark, Alain Payet and now Jean Le Castel.
Le rêves de Katia is also a title that is at least 6 months old.

I have "LES REVES DE KATIA" and do remember a polished up but still quite heavy anal (no gapes, though) scene. It has Laura Angel in it if memory serves right. And that is why I bought it. But the tape is on my still-to-watch heap for at least 10 months now. Having bought a license tape, actually I think it could be well two years old. So I guess JYL gets hired once in a while by Marc Dorcel.
Hi, I am happy some people are speaking about this movie. It was very interesting to do. Unfortunately, I did not have enough budget to take the best out of this movie.
Amongst the 5,000 odd movies on video and dvd I've seen over the years, (not including Standard and Super-8 continental and USA cinefilm movies), I seem to remember the French makes "Vanessa" and "Banana". The films on video were very clear and this was noticeable as we only had pirated copies to watch in those video days here in the UK, the quality of which left much to be desired!
Usually, the movie took place mainly in one room, so it could sometimes get a little monotonous! But these were the early days of video no doubt, before "Private" started into films and perhaps the budget was less than for the bigger companies like VMD and Magma, etc.
At the end of the "Vanessa" movies (with live sound), everyone used to gather round and give the "thumbs up" sign as the picture faded away. There was also a dark-haired actress often seen in the movies. One of the titles had about 20 minutes of trailers at the end!
I believe that you were in quite a few of these so you must have been fairly young at the time? Am I right or have I misidentified you? If so, I apologise.
I do remember that you appeared with English star Sarah Young, under "SAP" directed by "Sasha Alexander" (who I believe is Sarah's husband Hans Moser, who was previously married to Teresa Orlowski of VTO fame). I can't quite remember the name of the movie but there was a big house like a castle. You were dressed very smartly. I think you were wearing a wine colour suit and maybe Sarah wearing white? It also made the local newspapers at the time of the filming at the house (chateau) I think as a bit of a "scandal" in the neighbourhood!
You have obviously had a very successful career over the years.
Finally, I've seen a lot written about "anal" sex - but I dislike the idea of it and could do without it - but there's always plenty else to enjoy with the lovely actresses.

Hi, it is with a great pleasure that I speak about this movie. It took place in a castle in south-east of france, and this castle belonged to a very high member of the royal family of england. But it is not the most important. The most important was that i had a wonderful time with sarah. She is still one of my favorite actress.

Anyway, I don't think that Jean-Yves is truly under the Dorcel banner. The 2 VMD titles directed by Jean-Yves that were mentioned here, were made in 2001. I don't know of any others, but maybe Jean-Yves could shed a little bit more light on the subject.
btw, I saw Offertes à Tout 12 last week. A very nice female cast, with a couple of Jean-Yves regulars, such as Sandra (billed as Marioara), Mercedes Black, Silvia Sun and Gina Blonde. The other girls were Vanessa (from The Matador 10 ), Roxanne (aka Rita Black) and Hannah (also a Jean-Yves regular: The Matador 9 , Debauchery 8 & 9 and Assman 15 ; she was credited as Katalin). It was more in the Dorcel style (nice lingerie), but still, all girls did anal.
It is a long time I did this movie for marc dorcel. Unfortunately, the experience will not continue. I like very much marc dorcel style, and he teached me a lot, but I learned much more with mario salieri.

Really? Could you expand on this some more, Jean-Yves? It comes a bit as a surprise to me since your work seems so different than Salieri's. Also, isn't it a long time ago since you last worked with him?
Mario salieri, is shooting movie and he gives an atmosphere by using difficult lighting, and also camera with wide angles. For many reasons, I cannot shoot gonzo with this style, but the way I position my camera is directly inspired from Salieri.
will you still be producing for Private? If not, who will you be having your movies distributed through now?
I'm do like the Matador and X-Treme series you do for Private much better than your Assman work, because the production seems to have higher quality. Also it's much easier for me to get Private DVDs then Ana/Diabolic.. :)
