This is in no way, shape or form address to those regular ADT chatters who have manners, decorum and intelligence. This is for all the loser geeks and one loser geek in particular who decided to descend upon the ADT chat room and wreak havoc.... <html> <h2>GET A LIFE!</h2> <html> I am appalled, shocked and severely disappointed that the guest of honor, Jenna Jameson could be treated with such callous disrespect. Not only that, but one particularly juvenile individual who probably can't get a date with his right hand, much less any woman in America, decided that it was his right to screw up the chat for the rest of us. To that person, I say: "Take you trail of noxious slime and go crawl back under the rock beneath which you were spawned!" No one is amused by your little stunt. I thought that guy was rude and it was a shock to read since everyone was really happy to be there and was having fun. I just can't understand how one person could ruin over 120 people's chat with Jenna. The only other thing i would have changed about the chat. Was that the same people got to ask her several questions while other people's questions (mine include) never got asked. Stacy_Chasey_Jenna_Fan also keep in mind that people were typing in their questions 10 or 20 times which buried other people's questions. we really just couldn't keep up. Hopefully Jenna will still visit us here in the forum, where it's generally calm and punk-free [Link] |

We booted the users many times but hey just kept coming back. As things progressed they weren't happy just making rude comments like "FUCK YOY!" (That's a quote, not a mispelling.) They wanted more and decided to use an IRC war script to overwhelm the chat server. This caused everyone to be booted from the chat room. After the incident the punks were on EFNet bragging that they took down the Jenna Jameson chat. I wish I had the time to track them down and beat them over the head with the chat server. [Link] |

Let's face it, you know they'll be back to screw with us again. I have no clue as to what techical barriers can be set up to prevent them from doing what they did before but previous experience tells me that they will be back if nothing is to prevent them. If you need to set up another level of security or whatever-please do so. I know that after getting kicked off the chat, I had email problems too-which spilled over into my browser. (which means I lost my chance to use that coupon at five star) Again, let us know what we can do to help in the future and tell Jenna that we've all been supportive/appreciative of her visit. I simply don't have the time nor the financial resources to implement a stellar security infrastructure for Adult DVD Talk. That's not to say that we don't have security measures in place. They just aren't the state the art systems from Cisco and other top-notch suppliers. We've spent a ton of money on systems and software to provide a quick, reliable source of information for the adult DVD consumer. Maybe the ongoing attacks are a sign that we've made it to the Big Leauges? I doubt it. I think we just managed to get the attention of the right set of punks at the wrong time. [Link] |
