I am not gonna doubt Jules on this one...I haven't seen a bad movie from him, though the expectations are always raised. Gina Lynn's was awesome, shit the preview for Gina's was as good as anything , so I am intrigued..
I'm sure a Jenna Haze Darkside will do very well for Jules. Not to detract from his current/upcoming blockbuster, but I think it would be a real coup if he could get Stephanie Swift as a follow-up.
This is how I interpret the title. Without getting too involved with the Star Wars references, I think it has more to do with the performer exploring her dark side by challenging herself and pushing herself to her sexual limits (and save the comments about George Lucas turning a powerful black man into an decrepit old white man ).
What made the Gina Lynn version so enjoyable was the sheer variety and intensity of the scenes in Dark Side. Frankly, I think Dark Side would have been a little monotonous if every scene was IR .
I remember her doing a cameo with Jill Kelly on Howard Stern with talking about being up for an IR scene, but that she hasn't met the right guy to do it with yet. Of course, she said this when she was doing strictly G/G scenes so the comment seemed incredibly disingenuous at the time. Also, looking back at a chat transcript from 2002 on ADT, Jules Jordan wrote: I wish Lex the Impaler for Jenna but, NO CHANCE!
While this may be irresponsible, I will also add my own conjecture to the potential of an IR scene. I think Jenna's situation is dramatically different compared to a few years ago, both from a contractual and a relationship perspective. Also, I think a scene with Lexington Steele or someone of his stature would be a major selling point for a 2-disc (I hope!) Dark Side. Hopefully, JJ will provide some additional info and put this speculation to rest. Respectfully, while I cannot comment on the Jenna's nature, a multiple IR scene seems unlikely at this point and does not fit her character.
Considering the blandness of the material that was put out by JKP, a new "mild" JJ scene featuring Jenna Haze would look incredibly intense by comparison. It would be like watching a great performer realize their potential after years of mediocrity. I almost think her Dark Side scenes will be compared only to her contract work similar how Janine was evaluated when she started doing B/G.
However, I still think she and JJ will bring something new to the table. Jenna's already covered it all for Jules in the Flesh Hunter series (B/G, an air tight B/B/B/G, B/G/G respectively), so the question becomes what is new in her repertoire? I'm sure the film will involve a few unique threesomes.
I've been waiting for this since August of this year when Jules petitioned about getting Jenna on board for a Dark Side.
(To Tricia: Frankly, I can't wait and look forward to the notice by when you announce teaser pics and a trailer are up. PS: This would be a great title for my first review-hint, hint!)
Jules and Jenna are the perfect porn director/star match. A Jenna Darkside would not miss as the title of the year, I think. Unless she worked for Rocco or Stagliano (in feature epic style), I can't imagine anything better (Mike John, Patrick Collins, Jake Malone and Joey Silvera matches/rematches would be cool, too, and throw Belladonna into the mix).

Do you think that's what it is? It definitely is a possibility, but is that purely speculation on your part, or more substantive information filtering out? How did you like Jenna double fisting Bella? I quite liked it myself.
Man, Bella isn't really that hot IMO. Especially without makeup on. She is nasty I give her that but not hot. Jenna however is something of another nature. Her scenes in Darkside should make any straight mans day. I just hope at least half of the footage is new and not just stuff from older titles like trained teens 2 etc...

I think Monica Sweetheart is the hottest woman in porn. If I had the chance to spend the night with either Monica or Bella, I would take Bella in a heart beat! However, I think it's more likely that Jules thinks release is attention worthy because of acts that Jenna have avoided performing on film:
ATM or ATOGM
IR
There are other possibilities. Taylor Rain hinted at fisting in FH5, but that only generates controversy with censors rather than fans (ooh, a thumb is obscene! ). While EA has had transsexual titles, Jules hasn't ventured into filming this territory and a scene in a Dark Side title is more likely to generate annoyance than enjoyment by his audience.
There were plenty of behind-the-scenes where we see Jenna refuse to do ATM. Also, a female's first IR scene generates a lot of positive attention. As I've said before I think the title will have to bring something beyond basic B/G sex to achieve some notoriety and the above two are most likely.
It looks like Gentleman Jon has the box cover as his avatar, but here is a larger version. Frankly, my feelings are a little mixed. Most of his box covers have a collage of pics, and this one doesn't so there's no hint as to what's on the discs. However, Jenna does look good in the Catholic school girl skirt and hands posed in prayer (hmm, controversy?!).
Methinks you'd have to do a lot more than put your hands in a prayer pose to raise any semblance of controversy. There has been a woman posed like that on nearly every cover of Silvera's Service Animals series since it began.So I'm kinda glad it's in the can and finally happened. Did anybody talk to Jenna at the convention about the new title and her future plans? I have little doubt that she went into this project juiced up after all those years on a veg diet. Only a couple of short months before the proof is out there.
More idle speculation: Last year JH said she wanted to do b/g again, but she wanted to be a contract girl to do it. Then she did another movie with Jules Jordan, that everybody knows is b/g, despite no stills or trailers being released yet. Because it is Jules Jordan, and he doesn't do g/g movies, at least not that I know about. Then he pulls Jules Jordan Productions out of the Evil Angel distribution label to form his own distribution company, and Jenna Haze's Darkside will be the first movie released through that label.
I could be very wrong, but I'm kind of thinking that now that Jules is starting a new company, he plans to be different from Evil Angel, and have at least one contract performer, Jenna Haze, while still keeping the same style.
That could be very dangerous. Jules & Jenna are currently a couple. Signing your girlfriend as a contract girl can become very complicated should she stop being your girlfriend.
I was thinking the same thing as Gentleman Jon. Jules has stated that Jenna Haze is his favorite girl to shoot, and Jenna Haze has made it clear that she wants to be under contract. While I also agree with Bill that this could be a risky move on Jules part, imagine the scorching scenes that could be made in the meantime!

Jenna and Jules told me at the convention that while she's perfectly content shooting for Jules right now, she is not limiting herself to which company she works for. Luckily for her, she's going to be able to be very picky about which projects she says yes to.
As of a week ago, there were still 2 scenes left to shoot for this project, so there's still surprises left in store!

I thought I owned every b/g scene of Jenna's from her early days. She was one of my favorites but I lost interest when she went g/g only and I had seen each of those old scenes so many times. Then I happened to bump into an old title she was in that I had never seen before. I was actually looking for Desert Rose, and came across Brandon Iron's 'Rampage 4'. Just got it in and it was a pretty damn good scene with Jenna, Luna, and Brandon! I think it was filmed in late 2001. Maybe I better double check all those old titles....

I spent a fair amount of time talking to Jenna about this movie at her One Night Stand party in Vegas..trust me, you won't be disappointed. Jenna Haze will be back in full vengeance in this one, and I can't wait to see it!!!!
Maybe. Maybe not. Jules has always retained ownership of his movies and related stills. He just licensed Evil Angel to make the DVDs or VHS tapes and boxes to sell to the public. But the masters and proofs have always been his to keep. I know second pressings are rare in porn, but I believe they said that Evil Angel can still sell the rest of their existing copies of Jules' old movies, but if Jules ever wants to reprint his movies made while he was at Evil Angel, he can do so. Whether Jenna Haze Darkside and any reprintings of his Evil Angel back catalog will have the same box covers except for a different company name at the top, or have new designs, depends on whether the graphic designer who originally designed them was being paid by Jules or by Evil Angel. But even if it turns out that Evil Angel owns the box cover design, since Jules owns the stills used in them, he could just move the same stills around on the box and tweak the fonts, and maybe change some of the descriptions. Same photos to catch your eye, but different layout. No problem.
Yeah Man I can't wait. When is the date exactly? Does anyone know? I heard maybe March now because of the move.

Now that Bella is shooting Girl/Boy again for her company, maybe we can see a Girl/Girl/Boy with Jules, Janna, and Bella. The only problem is that Bella is going to shoot Boy/Girl only for her company. I guess Jenna will have to work for Bella if it can happen. There's been nothing but radio silence on this movie for the past 16 days.
