The whole Cindy Crawford/Richard Gere sham marriage to cover their true homosexuality is no shock either. Were those exact quotes from your book? I wonder because I've heard you speak of your encounters with Manson. That he liked to bite & scratch, but I've never heard you call him "Massively Endowed" and I figure Howard Stern would have jumped all over that if you felt that way. She remains one of the performers who brought porn further to the mainstream than ever before...along with Linda Lovelace, Janine and unfortunately Traci Lords. The article was certainly a compelling read, disturbing at times...however it seems to me to be just another example of RS writing going nowhere and signifying little. The author seems to have a preconditioned idea and uses the article not to fact-find but to promote his own scenarios and opinions. How I long for the days in the seventies, eighties and even early nineties when RS writing was factual, thought provoking and excellently done - wouldn't this article have rocked written by one of the now-forgotten "old guard."
