I just attended some of the Fashion Shows here in NYC-and saw Jenna Jameson-she has already attended MANY of the fashion lines already-and is really the meanest to the fans out of all the celebrities that have showed up. For some reason she comes into the show with a "suitcase pimp" that looks like John Malkovich and a Spanish woman (publicist?) who looks like Michelle Rodriguez after a 10 day crack binge. They are her mouthpiece, so to speak, as she refuses to even acknowledge the fans (myself + maybe 3???) that recognize her(which aren't many)and she gets ushered out by security each time-the only person to do so. I saw her with hired bodyguards at AVN-but I think she is taking this a little too far-she needs a reality check! Anyhow, aside from her-many other celebs I have ran into that were super nice and posed and signed(with me, especially!)-Nicky Hilton, Paula Abdul, Petra Nemcova, Mya, Anne Hathaway-the list goes on..etc....actual celebrities. I don't know how Jenna even got invited to these functions- Negative One for her-she is supposed to give the adult world a good name-she is acting like a jackass.... As Johnny Carson would say-"funny stuff", well not really...

Well being a Jenna fan, I would not care if she was shunning me. I sure hope to meet her next year the the AEE but hey, she has paid her dues in my eyes and lots of celebs of all sorts are not fan friendly all the time. Only when they need to be is when they are. Jenna is still number 1 and she is the bomb. She could tell me to go to hell and I would love it hehe. JennaRulez as my nn says
I think you should have more respect for yourself-whether you're her #1 fan or not-disrespecting your fans or the people that placed you where you are is the ULTIMATE disrespect. If giving blowjobs is what you mean by "paying her dues", then yeah-she's paid them-but it doesn't give her the right to act like a bitch!

Remember everyone has thier off days. Plus she is a celeb, and liek i say her job like other entertainers is to entertain me. She does that and so the job is done. How she is as a person has no decision for me on if I will like her or not. Is how I am with the many hollywood celebs I have met over the years. Neve Campbell is a n awesome person, I hang out with her when she is back home visiting family. But her movies and acting sucks. Jenna Jameson may have an attitude but her movies are good. So it is two seperate things to me. Some if i meet them I may end up liking them more but usually that is because i am not a big fan and so meeting them like Alexis Amore, makes me want to see more of her movies. jenna, she is it, she is #1 and so if she has an attitude oh well, I still like her for her work.
I think she's developed certain coping mechanisms as the result of being a big fish in a small pond, i.e. her retinue. My impression is that she has not had the greatest experiences when it comes to dealing with crowds. She probably didn't acknowledge you, because she was scared.
That is not what a suitcase pimp is. Maybe, outside of porn fan functions, she just wants to be her own private person and some overenthusiastic fans have imposed upon her too much. You see, some people think that just because they have seen a woman naked and fucking that they get to be an over pushy fan(atic). Plus she must have more than her own fair share of stalkers.

^^^ Croy you said it perfect bud, I agree with you. Outside of fan funsctions she does not have to be all smiles and friendly to every person who talks to her. And for sure she has got to have her fair share of losers who stalk her. I just look at it in the way of, she entertains me and that is all it comes down to. The job is done. She is not a big fish in a small pond. She is just someone who has been very successful in this business and is a smart business woman.
I don't think it has anything to do with being scared or "being" a "big fish in a small pond"-Frankly, she used to be nice-MANY years ago-seems ever since she started her own production company she has changed a whole lot. This particular function I went to wasn't about being a "big fish in a small pond"-that would apply if this were AVN-this was a fashion show-she was more or less-shrimp in a show full of whales-the stars that attended these shows far exceeded her celebrity status from any angle you choose to look at it thru. It is just that she has a poor attitude and wants to feel like she is a bigger star than she actually is. By paying people to escort her around-I guess it makes her feel that way. She just likes attention-but when someone like Lindsay Lohan is attending the same show as you are-that is hard to get...... JennaRulez, I know you seem to like Jenna a lot-I am just spilling the truth-Ironically, the girl in your avatar-Mercedez has a reputation for being a bitch to her fans as well-I can attest to that.......
It's amazing how you can be nice and gracious to thousands and thousands of people, but if you're rude (accidental or not) to one then you are a "bitch". I have a couple of celebrity friends and they can all attest to this. You never know if the person in question is having a bad day, a stomach ache, just had a fight with a spouse, their dog died, or numerous other things...I'm certainly not defending a bad attitude, I'm just pointing out that people should be a little less quick to judge...especially when only ONE person can mention a negative experience.
Sorry Stormy, I met Jenna on more than one occasion-some accidental-some not-unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. I am not the only one that feels this way. Too bad others that happened to meet her during Fashion Week especially, don't post here-or aren't really porn fans such as myself-because you would be hearing the same thing from them. Jenna attended more than one fashion show that week-on more than one day and her attitude was constant-I guess she was having a bad day, err week?? Judging from Jenna's henchmen at AVN wearing a "touch her and die" jacket, "nice and gracious" would be the last two words I would consider calling her.. Thanks for your input though....

Well for me, I do not take it personal if a celeb of any sort is rude to me if i meet them any way be it a function of that Industry they are in or by bumping into them on the street or at a show etc. I live in Toronto and celeb sightings are a dime a dozen here. Many movies are filmed right around and in the building I work in. And so my mentality has never been judging them on how they are personally but how they are professionally. Sure I am a big Jenna fan, but that does not mean i expect her to be sweet and nice to me if and when i finally get to meet her. For me if I get the pleasure of meeting a celeb I like, it more just gravy to me because as i stated before, they entertain me then they have done thier job. Meeting them will not make me like or dislike them more. Has nothing to do with thier job. As Stormy stated, everyone has a bad day/week. Is how we are as humans. Jenna may have an ego, who knows, but really can you blame the woman? Seriously. She is the mainstream female name in porn, she has helped it go mainstream and helped it along making it tons of money. So sure I am definite she may have an ego. But wouldn't you at some point as well if you were the centre of attention and was the it person in an industry that you helped make big? Only human nature. But Jenna does not forget her fans, nor will she ever. Because if she did, she would not show up to the AEE. The bodyguards do not phase me. Luther Reigns, former WWE Wrestler, was one of her security guys. He was really cool. Hey Stormy I wish i had the pleasure to meet you at the AEE but I missed you. Only met Kirsten, Carmen and Julia Ann. Also it all depends on how a person comes across to the celeb they meet. Ashton Moore, Jenna Haze, Nicole Sheridan and Taylor Wane were so awesome to shoot the breeze with. We talked about when they came up here to T.O. and where they like to eat to what it was like to have to go through our customs. To joking with one another. So again, it will depend sometimes how you come across to them. When I was talking to Ashton Moore, people had these weird looks on thier faces because I didn't just go hi get a pic and say a couple of words and leave. I must have been there 10 minutes talking to her. Sure I think Ashton is a terific person, but that does not make me like her movies more. Just that i appreciate who she is.

Well, of all the porn girls you've mentioned-I have met them as well-they are all nice-my intent of this thread was to spread the word on Jenna Jameson-as "mainstream" as you or she thinks she is-you mentioned Neve Campbell-I wouldn't put them in the same sentence.... Jenna may be considered mainstream by ppl in the adult world-but in no means is she mainstream from a Hollywood point of view-and never will be-look up Traci Lords......... Her personality isn't going to change-she is who she is-whether it be a bad day, week, month-regardless, 95% of her success is because of Howard Stern-and she herself knows that. As for Luther Reigns-he was fired by Vince McMahon last year, which explains why he is now Jenna's bitch, so to speak... How the mighty have fallen..
I had to google those names. How being a bodyguard instead of a wrestler is 'falling' is beyond me. Maybe your world needs recalibration. Most of the world isn't going to look up to professional wrestling.
Jenna probably is still nice, but as I said, she has a lot of overzealous fans who can act like idiots. Makes going to McDonalds tough, see? So she (and celebs) have people to keep others at a distance.
I'm going to bet that a porn star gets (for the number of viewers) a disproportionate amount of bad fan and worse stalker compared to other entertainers. Sadly, seeing a woman in porn leads some to think they have a right to be rude, obnoxious, and loud in public. She (and others) may not want to be propositioned for a quick anal bang when they are running errands. When you see a guy at a bar be rude when they are embarrassed about being turned down? I'm betting the worse fans are louder, ruder, and more insulting when turned down.
Hulk Hogan and the Rock I have heard of, Luther Reigns not at all. Which makes me wonder if he is a star at all. So tying two names that have been heard of to some bit player doesn't legitimize the little guy. The Rock hasn't been in a popularly successful blockbuster. He had a small role in Be Cool and was said to be a better actor in the movie than the rest. Then some action movies that didn't set any records.
My comment was based on how society would see him. No name pro-wrestler or bodyguard. Well sheer numbers of fans (many of whom are kids) doesn't mean society looks up to a person in that position.
Your thread is about being bitter about Jenna Jameson. Of course nobody got close to her - she had the entourage. And they are there because of prior experience. If you are all about complete reading, you see that my threads were about life experience, not fashion week.
You never heard of Luther Reigns because his career in WWE was cut short by Vince McMahon-he wasn't good enough-thus, he got canned. Jenna picked up the scrap.. The Rock's career speaks for itself-he is a legit action hero-you can look up his credits at imdb-he also has a slew of films in the making-and so do other WWE stars you prob never yet heard of...All I can say is, you will never see Luther Reigns on "Dancing with the Stars"... As for Jenna, it all goes back to reading my first post carefully, and if you go back and do so, you will notice I said Jenna walked in with John Malkovich clone and a Spanish woman-she didn't have the security until she came out-which means she requested them inside so the paparazzi will notice her as a celeb and flash away while coming out-she was a virtual nobody to the paparazzi walking in. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm responding to this thread primarily to back up Stormy's observation (not that it needs further validation) that everyone has a bad day, and unfortunately for celebrities, often their "off" moments can be captured by hundreds or even thousands of people at times - such is simply the nature and price of fame.
But what I really wanted to address is the comment made at the beginning of this thread that for someone to have a bodyguard at AEE - or any adult convention - is perhaps "taking things a bit far."
I've worked in adult since 1989 and hiring security at these events has simply become the way we do business today. As has been pointed out by fans and talent in threads on this site and others, the aggressiveness of a very small number of fans and paparazzi warrants their use. Jenna is hardly the only adult star to use bodyguards - I hired a security firm to work with Wicked at Erotica LA 2005, and Wicked used a Vegas-based firm for AEE last month.
Anyone who goes to the trouble and expense of hiring a professional security team isn't doing it for "show" value. The bodyguards are there to help girls get to and from the booths peacefully. Often, they don't have to do much else - fans are awesome, and just the bodyguards' presence alone sends the message to the rare troublemaker that it wouldn't be worth it to cause a commotion.

One word comes to mind when i read all the negative comments from some fans about celebs and what they expect them to be like. IGNORANCE. They are people too. Just thier job is to entertain so they are in the public eye and people will love to scrutinize them for thier actions.
sikid, I'm going to just point out what others seem to be tiptoeing around. Whether this is an accurate impression or not, your postings do sound like that classic movie turn, when a fan flips from adulation to attack because he gets snubbed.
You don't have to search far on this site to find many, many accounts of Jenna being gracious, including one from me, and I'm not even a Jenna fan. I'm just saying, consider the possibility that it might be you.

I understand what Sikid means. From the times I've observed her, Jenna doesn't wave to fans from the red carpet, she only wants to be photographed and go about her business. That's just what she's like, so now you know.
Funny, you mentioned this, that Jenna's bodyguards are not for "show"? Are you kidding me??? Please explain the "Touch Jenna and Die" imprinted on their vests? When was the last time you saw ANY celebrity or porn star for that matter with bodyguards(hired hands) with that type of phrase or any phrase for that matter printed on their jackets? Your statement is pretty idiotic-you sound like you don't know who Jenna is-or haven't seen her personally paid security-they look like BIGGER tools than she does! Not to get off topic-but those "tools" weren't invited to these fashion shows-ObiBong, I've met so MANY celebrities you wouldn't be able to wrap your tiptoeing head around it, trust me! Being snubbed by Jenna is only an insult because of how inferior she is to other celebrities I have met who were actually "gracious". Like I said before the only reason I started this thread was to get the word out on Jenna to you porn fans-don't read my post the wrong way...
Whatever you say, man. I'm just saying your tone isn't going to help you convince people. Maybe I'm not reading your post the wrong way -- maybe you're saying it the wrong way.

So then is this thread to discourage us who are fans of Jenna J? To maybe discourage us from being a fan or what? Who cares what she is like personally. That means fuckall to me, I am still a big fan regardless. Big deal. I do not expect every type of celeb to be all cool and friendly to all. They are human too, like everyday people, they are everyday people. Do you ever have your bad days or are you all upbeat and friendly to everyone everyday? Why is it that when a fan experiences a celeb having attitude they take it personal? As for Mercedez, hey so what if she is rude to her fans. I didn't get that and I talked to her for a few minutes when i met her. She didn't blow me off as another idiotic fan. But again that did not make me like her professionally more or less. I wish people would seperate personal from professional for a change. Never take anything personal when meeting a celeb of any sort.

Hi Sikid,
You obviously have an agenda to grind here, and that's fine, I'm not going to question that, other than to clarify a couple statements/questions directed toward me,
1.) "When was the last time you saw ANY celebrity or porn star for that matter with bodyguards(hired hands) with that type of phrase or any phrase for that matter printed on their jackets?"
Sikid, I see it all the time - Example? When I promoted at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival, and rapper-producer-filmmaker C.E.O., owner of Nashville's Strike One Music and a major player in the South's underground rap scene, had bodyguards sporting slogans on their gear that would put Jenna's guards to shame. The same with veteran Nashville rapper and Bottom Boy Recordz owner Quanie Cash, who was also there, as well as Young Buck of G-Unit. It's pretty common in music world, actually.
2.) "Please explain the "Touch Jenna and Die" imprinted on their vests"
Sikid, I can't "explain" why anyone wears anything - I'm still trying to figure out why my assistant dresses like Avril Lavigne. :-)
3.) "Your statement is pretty idiotic-you sound like you don't know who Jenna is-or haven't seen her personally paid security-they look like BIGGER tools than she does! Not to get off topic-but those "tools" weren't invited to these fashion shows-"
Sikid, Having been Wicked's publicist for six years, I have a decent working knowledge of who Jenna is - and I especially remember how gracious she was (to me as her publicist and yes, "bodyguard," of sorts, as well as ALL of her fans) at the 2000 VSDA Show when she supported DREAM QUEST (her last full feature for Wicked) by signing at our booth. As for her bodyguards "not being invited to these fashion shows" - a celebrity's security team is never "invited" to anything, it's up to the artist to hire them to work the event. If Jenna wasnt rolling with her crew, it's because she chose not to bring them, just as she's done at XRCO and other events.
Like I said, not trying to change your mind, so there's no need to keep flaming me. I'm just clarifying some personal history in light of what you asked.

Sikid - you're the one who's coming off as an idiot in a forum like this. You're acting like you know a lot more about someone that people who have been around her for years, not just at a few events all during one isolated week. Daniel Metcalf is one of the biggest PR people the adult business has known. He was PR for Jenna back when she was still with Wicked pictures, so I think he knows her better than any other person who has posted here on this thread.
I agree with what he and a few others have said. I have heard Jenna and others say that bodyguards are because of past incidents. Jenna has a lot of crazy stalkers, and the bodyguards are to discourage people from overwhelming her. Did it occur to you that maybe Jenna didn't WANT to be photographed during fashion week, and that's why she was trying to stay so low-key?
JennaRulez2006, you keep repeating the same thing post after post-I GET IT! Jenna could throw you on the floor, piss on your face, and shit down your throat-and you will still get up and thank her Alex Haley slave-style! You really like Jenna! Again, I GET IT!Nice try responding to my post-how could I forget: "Quanie Cash"? I don't know what I was thinking...... As for Jenna, if u read the entire thread-I mentioned Jenna used to be nice-you said you worked with her in 2000? That's six years ago-before she started her own company and got heavy headed-yeah-I am sure she was nice to you back then as she was to me-but things have changed... No, I don't have anything to grind with anyone on this board...just giving ppl a heads-up, as you are even more likely to run into Jenna than I am-and maybe you will see her differently when that time arrives after reading my post.
Tricia, I really have no idea who you are-not that I should-but if Jenna wanted to be so low key-and not be photographed by anyone-well, I guess she was unsuccessful. http://www.wireimage.com/GalleryListing.asp?navtyp=CLB&str=5365&sfld=&styp=clbi&nvc=&nvv=&nm=Jenna+Jameson&evntI=1734
