I remember that card and I did just like it said to each time you were supposed to scratch it I did and most smelled like they said it would including the last one, sticker lmao. I really like this movie still watch it occasionally especially for the lovable Juli Ashton who did some great work here and also for that great scene with Jenna, Kylie, and Felecia. Just wish Jenna would have dribble the cum into Felecias mouth or maybe all three of them could share it in a three way lesbian kissfest. The last scene with Jenna and John Dough was great too and to see Jenna playing with the cum covered shorts was great especially the look she gives. What has VCA been editing on their releases for DVD? I avoid them as a rule b/c of condoms, but am curioius if this editing applies to the 80s classics? Or is it wholesale content butchering like Vivid?
While VCA's transfers on the "archive" titles are about as good as possible, considering the original source material, there has been some editing of scenes or parts of scenes, for various reasons. A good example is "Every Woman Has a Fantasy 1 & 2." Whole chunks are missing from both pictures! Some of the edits are supposedly because Kristara Barrington was "allegedly" underage when she shot EWHAF1, but there are some cuts in EWHAF2 that are, IMHO, totally unnecessary considering what else is being sold out there. It would really be helpful if there were labeling indicating that a title was "Edited from its original release version," or reviewer info (or info _here_ for that matter) from VCA that would indicate where/what edits were made in each title. In my case, I'm trying to "upgrade" my VHS copies -- I don't want to spend the money on a DVD and find out I don't have the entire feature!
greybeard- Your suggestion that studios note what changes they have made from the original is a great idea. I would love to see this become an indistry standard for DVD.
VCA edit DVDs for censorship reasons and work from their own guidelines on acceptable content, unlike Vivid who indiscriminately cut everything in sight just to fit more garbage 'extras' onto the disc. VCA's list of taboo subjects includes themes which were prevalent in most '70s and '80s classics and sadly these films have been cut to shreds. The above mentioned Every Woman Has a Fantasy 1&2 unbelievably includes menu links to stars and scenes which are missing from the DVD! VCA titles shot in the '90s are unlikely to be edited. What I find puzzling about VCA is that they show very little consistency in their censorship decisions. The DVD of DMJ3&4 apparently still includes the 'incest' scene from part 4 where Lois Ayres says to her on-screen father "Can we play the naked fun games now daddy?" immediately prior to sex with suggestions of rape. It doesn't offend me, but at the same time I don't understand how rape/incest is somehow more acceptable to VCA than the mild bondage removed from EWHAF2. Go figure.
