A technical note on these videos: I can tell that you (purposefully or inadvertently) have done a digital sample rate conversion on the audio using a "low quality" method. Specifically, you've done something like going from 44.1 kHz to 12kHz, or vise versa. What ever tool you have used that changed the sample rate did a bad job on it. This is quite common and easy to hear. Do you hear all of the "digital hash" on the top end? A bunch of high pitched noises of various frequencies; kind of like a bunch of little bells or something (out of tune bells). Note that I'm talking about the sample frequency or sample rate; not the bit rate of the MP3. I hear this all the time, even on commerical radio, so it's not like you are alone in this. My suggestion would be one of two things: 1. If you know where you are doing your rate conversion, look for an option in the tool you are using to do a "high quality" bit rate conversion. It's made by PureDigital and has no external mike capabilities. So it's definitely not the best sound set up, especially for a place with as much background noise as the AEE floor. I edited it with Windows Movie Maker. Perhaps there is something in there that I can use to improve the audio quality. I know this isn't the ideal set up, but this thing fits in the palm of my hand and plugs right into the USB port. That saves me from carrying around a big camera and saves time on the editing end. I suspect you are using a different recording device for just audio though. Have you tried listening to the original video recording versus the YouTube version?
