I've heard that drake insists that her name not be capitalized. Perhaps this is a trivial question and maybe I'm just nosy but I was wondering what the reason is behind this. Anybody know?

Perhaps she's a fan of e.e. cummings?

[briefly derailing thread:]
Ironically, e.e. cummings name is capitalized on each and every one of his books of poetry that I own. I have always found that amusing.

Maybe it means she's submissive.

She told Lee Carver that after she picked the screenname jessica drake she decided it looked pretty cool to hand sign it in all lower case, and it was also less tiring on her hand at conventions and the like to not have to sign her autograph with big loopy cursive capital Js and Ds. And apparently she just wants her name in print to match her autograph. And actually, yes, she did mention e.e. cummings but I cannot remember whether she said she was that much of a fan or not. Unfortunately the interviews do not seem to be on the latest version of Lee Carver's website.

This is just another silly "look at me, I'm an attention you-know-what". I'm glad most sites and reviewers don't follow this when printing stuff about Jessica...err, jessica.

I remember Aria (the former Marie Silva, not Aria Giovanni) insisted for a while that her name always be spelled ARIA.

I'm waiting for a performer to insist on being a symbol instead of a name...like Prince used to do.
