I don't know if Jewel would refer to herself as an icon. With her its all about being unpretentious and putting out the best work possible.
But Jewel Denyle was and is a great force in porn.
She showed how woman can get into rough sex without taking on the victim role. Her movies whether as a star or as director have a refreshing honesty missing not just in porn but in the entire entertainment industry.
If you feel like I do take this opportunity to express your graditude and appreciation of Jewel Denyle.

I agree with what you write. I watched Firebush Vol. 2 not long ago and it was just as hot as the haircolor of the girls in it (yes, I am a redhead fanatic). It is rare that you see a movie with nothing but top notch performances from top notch talent, but this was one of them. The Isabella Soprano scene was just u-n-b-e-l-i-e-v-a-b-l-e (so unbelievable that PXP even forgot to add her name to the cover).

Jewel is a Hall of Famer, IMVHO. She revived my interest in straight porn; even gals like JJ, JK and Asia Carrera could not do that. If you could do that with Valentino, you must be one hell of a performer.
