CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Jewel De'Nyle, the 2001 AVN Female Performer of the Year, and director/performer Michael Stefano, formerly known as Luciano, announced their wedding date on Tuesday. The two plan to get married in a private ceremony on March 9, 2002 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. Then they will fly to Sicily, Italy for a two-week honeymoon. The two had been dating for over a year and a half when they decided they wanted to take the next step on Aug. 5, De'Nyle's birthday. Stefano said they would make the engagement official at Christmas time. "I'm very happy," De'Nyle told AVN.com Tuesday. "It's nice to find someone in the business you're compatible with." "It's all good," Stefano told AVN.com. "I'm having fun, she's having fun. We're happy together. It's been working out, we're on the same page. "Most people in this business have issues, they're not stable, can't hold a relationship, or are insecure. When you find someone who has their shit together and knows what they're doing, it's refreshing."
Stefano said his parents, De'Nyle's parents and De'Nyle's sister and husband will be among the attendees at the wedding.
Stefano said the two have bought property in Sicily for their retirement and plan to build a house on the land in the next few years. "We're just working, saving, having fun," he said. Stefano recently signed with West Coast Productions to direct two movies a month for its new hardcore series. His first two titles for the company are Sex Toys and Sticky Side Up. Do you think it's a good news or bad news? Who is Michael Stefano? Magnet12 Edited by - Magnet12 on Sep 14 2001 [Link] |

| dexplorer Member 442 Posts 8/01 | Do most porn couples, married or living together, have open marriages outside their on set work? Or do they tend to have rules such as "only on the set"? Do they tend to remotely follow them if they do? If they are the open marriage types -- does ANYTHING go? I mean it doesn't go as far as it being OK to fly off to Mexico or Hawaii for a week or weekend with some outside "just sex" partner, does it? Many repeats with the same guy (or girl), who's the one she / he goes to the movies with usually, etc.? Is that OK? Unplanned overnights? Ask ahead of time before off the set sex? Lots of fights on this very topic? I'm sure it's different with different people. But I'd really like to get some basic insights into how it tends to work. Or into the two or three camps porn starlets with committed relationships tend to fall into. After all, the starting point of the porn performer world is so radically different than that of most other married or living together people in this country. Especially now, what with the mainstream propaganda pressure for strict monogamy in marriage on pain of immediate divorce. This attitude on the part of women rather permeates mainstream American romantic comedy in the latter half of the 90's. The great quest for the guy who will be faithful -- and demanding it. (At least if it's the guy who strays -- we tend not to see the message going the other way recently do we?) Anyway, back on topic … Is there any wisdom from experience in this area that the rest of us can learn from? What with all sorts of experimentation in the rather rules free porn subculture I mean? If we're inclined towards open relationships that is. I gather most porn star women either have relationships with guys (or girls) in the business, or with suitcase pimp types they came into it with -- and who significantly live off of them. Well, what about relationships with directors or producers or others in the biz who don't do much or any performing? Do porn starlets then expect their guy to never screw anyone else except on the set -- when he doesn't screw on the set? And she's getting herself fucked by 50 or 100 or more different guys a year on screen? Guys she can often choose once she starts to rise in the biz? Especially since there's at least a significant subsets of porn starlets who are more sluts than whores. Meaning they got into and stayed in the business more because of all the great, edge pushing and plentiful sex, and permission in the subculture to have it, than for the money. (You know types like Tricia Devereaux (who dropped out of med school to be a porn star full time), Chloe, Taylor Hayes, Tera Patrick, Jasmin St. Claire, etc. Lots more) As contrasted with the whore type who really isn't into the sex that much, and would do something else if she could make as much or more money at it without doing a whole lot more work. (I think Jenna Jameson is probably in this category. She says she doesn't really enjoy it usually anyway. Maybe that's hubby fodder, don't know.) So. Anyone know anything about this "marital fidelity in porn star's lives" thing? Any porn stars want to shed some light? Without necessarily talking about their own lives or naming names? Just please don't anyone say something as totally useless as "everyone's different", and just leave it at that!!
