Jill and Haven (and maybe another star or two) will be signing autographs. They are even advertising it on the radio. How cool that I have Friday off from work?!? Anyone in the Houston area should plan to visit at 8100 North Fwy, sometime around 5 pm-8 pm. I wonder how many dvd covers would be considered appropriate to ask Jill to sign (I only have one Haven movie but lots of Jill movies). <HD does the happy dance for joy>  [Link] |

That's very cool that you just happen to have that day off work, HoustonDon! Coincidence? ;) How many DVD covers DO you have? I'm sure it's considerable.
Very cool also that you have an Adult Video Megaplexxx. I'm not sure what that is, but it sounds awesome!
Someone once wanted to open an adult 'bookstore' here in Smack-Dab. An emergency town meetin' was called up to put the kabosh on such plans. It introduces a 'bad element' into the community, they said. I seriously doubt if someone would move here for THAT. They're already here, just spread out - wouldn't this at least give them a central headquarters?
They don't see it that way, unlike the Houston area, where they get a friggin Megaplexxx.

Smartblonde, actually, we have dozens of video/book stores in Houston. We also have lots of strip clubs. It's one of the reasons I have suggested, more than once, that some of the company's should spend time promoting here. Oh, for the record, we have 3 of the Megaplexxx stores (it's a chain) and a lot of other big stores here. I think if a company, like Wicked, VCA, Adam & Eve, or any other company wanted to, they could staturate the town (ie: have several video store appearances followed by strip club dancing). The problem with this event is that it was on relatively short notice and I've been told the store didn't have time to promote it as well as they wanted to.Number of dvd's: a lot. Number with Jill in them: a lot. Steph, I'll bring my trusty APS camera and take some shots of the ladies (as many as they let me take). None of me though-I have a mystique to preserve (besides, a broken camera takes no pictures). [Link] |

Well, it's "J-Day" here in Houston. I called a radio show known for having porn stars as guests and the guy answering the phones was clueless. I asked to speak with someone a bit higher up and was disconnected-twice. Oh well...I'll be bathing and...brushing my teeth (I know, I already did that on the first of the month but this is a special event so my once a month hosing down wouldn't be enough) so as to not offend the ladies. I'm hoping, for my sake, the first appearance will be less popular since I am bringing a few extra items to be signed. (one of my bestest pals asked and a local friend can't make it) If there's a limit, I'll get their stuff signed first and hope for the best. The hours for the later signing will now be 7 PM for anyone in the area. I wonder what they're doing for dinner... [Link] |

Well, I'm back from the afternoon signing-it was really cool. I brought some stuff and they signed it all (next time, I'll get other stuff signed-I was trying to keep from being greedy). They also let me take a few pictures-with and without me-so I'll try and get them developed this weekend (no nudes shots-the local film developers would probably have kept them and I'd be SOL). Maybe I need to get a digital camera for the next time they ladies come to town...Anyways, both Jill and Haven were super nice to everyone who came into the store. I spoke with them for about 20+ minutes and my impressions were all favorable. I did notice that they seemed much shorter than I anticipated having watched them on screen. Very cute though. [Link] |
