I'm not talking signed autograph polaroid... I'm talking if you walked by and snapped a picture, Evan would try to extort $10 from you. These conventions are for the fans. The girls are being paid to be there OR they're there to promote. Either way, it's not expected they turn a profit there. The "return on investment" happens later. These recent conventions feel more like a flee market with everyone jumping in your face to make a hard sell to you as you walk by. This thing with Tera Patrick is just ridiculous. It's a DVD for crying out loud. She acts like her DVD's are the equivalent of a Babe Ruth baseball card for Christ's sake. - Jimmy Hooligan [Link] |
