Mr Burns does not care about the company. He is only using it as his personal bank account. I hear that Jill has quit. She does not want anything to do with the company anymore- although I hear she is officially on a leave of absence.
They just got a new group of stooges to put up money to keep them in business for a while longer, though that gravy train will de-rail soon enough. I hear that they put up their JKP library as collateral.
Everyone still employed is just hanging onto their jobs for the paycheck. Jill Kelly Productions will never work without Jill herself. Regardless of what her role actually was, they cannot do legitimate business without her.
Mr Burns, who once professed he would never do anything to hurt Jill Kelly, could care less that she is no longer there. He is actually glad that she is gone. But, Mr Burns better watch his back. The new boss calling the shots over there is hiding many things from Mr Burns. Mr Burns is going to get burned, and most likely receive jail time, as well as his hench men that he now has in place at JKP. Mr Burns should know not to trust anyone. Especially someone he picks to run the company.
Teh remaining contract girls should leave also. You are judged by the company you keep.
