| Posted - Dec 3 2003 : 6:05PMhas anyone seen this movie? how does it compare to the Opening of Misty Beethoven? like the ladies in Beethoven all had hair on their genitals and there was music accompanying the sex. anyone feel one movie tops the other in some area (sex, story, overall feel)?

THE TEASE happens to be one of my favorite shot-on-video flicks, mainly because I'm a big fan of Lauren Hall. It's certainly not as artistic or as creative as THE OPENING OF MISTY BEETHOVEN but the build-up to the hardcore is well-done, and to answer your questions, yes, there is music accompanying the sex, and the women are indeed unshaved. With the exception of Constance Money, all the women in THE TEASE (Lauren Hall, Selena Steele and Ashlyn Gere)easily look better than the actresses in MISTY BEETHOVEN. The story and studio/house-bound setting in THE TEASE are a lot simpler than the PYGMALION-esque structure and production of the far more ambitious MISTY. I own both discs, but it's THE TEASE which I watch most often. Edited by - Diesel on 12/5/2003 3:40:17 AM [Link] |

I just picked up a copy of the Tease. But I can't find a specific production date given. Diesel, do you happen to know (or anyone else) what the production date on this motion picture is? [Link] |

It was made around 1989 or 1990. I know that it first appeared (on VHS tape, of course) in 1990. Lauren Hall retired shortly afterwards.Diesel [Link] |

I haven't seen "The Opening of Misty Beethoven" <the crowd gasps> YET, but check out my recent review of "The Tease." It's a damn fine movie.Actually, I give most of John Leslie's VCA stuff my highest recommendation. And, yes, the women in "The Tease" have nicely shaped, brown beavers. Yeahhhh! The Pervert [Link] |

As a huge John Leslie fan, I actually found this movie disappointing. It's not that the sex was bad, it's just the storyline wasn't as strong as I expect from Leslie. All in all, though, I'd compare this more with Leslie duds like "Bad" than his masterpieces like "Catwoman" and "The Chameleon". [Link] |

L-O-V-E Lauren Hall.
"Bad" is awful, but "The Tease" was entertaining and enticing. I love watching her entry down the staircase and meeting Randy West for the first time. Edited by - savoy on 10/23/2008 3:44:56 AM [Link] |

Well, I take that back. "The Tease" wasn't quite as bad as "Bad", but it certainly was no "Catwoman" or "Chameleon". Overall, it was typical for Leslie for this time period (the early 90's) when his budgets were being cut in half. [Link] |

While a great actor, I also think he is the best actor-turned director that porn industry has seen. He just had his share of duds like any director. [Link] |
