Casual Darkko fan here... I tend to agree with some other comments on here - Jonni's releases have become a little "by the numbers" lately. Although, Megan and Vicki's recent "Slutty Angels" scenes were epic! But anyway... My point of discussion - what the hell is happening with the scene quality/color contrast of Jonni's scenes on EA? Sometimes Jonni's or Markus Dupree's dick/ballsack is LITERALLY purple! So are some of the girl's gapes. And the quality of Angel's recent showcase was terrible in parts! I cannot help but echo some of the other comments on this thread about Darkko's current work. You look at his current and upcoming films on Evil Angel Video and you see gonzo fucking movies, the odd showcase and maybe Wet Food 8 or whatever. I think Darkko proved many times how little he cares about the demands of the audience or variety and rather than the hand of the market, he prefers his own (pun intended). I was disappointed with his new Kalina Ryu showcase. Like, 6 scenes... over 4 hours runtime (including one ridiculous-length 1hr 52min scene) and Jonni is the ONLY male performer in all the scenes. Seemed to handle all the cameras etc himself, reeked of him making it on the cheap. He and Kalina have done some awesome scenes in the past, but this release was just ...lazy. I don't think Jonni has 4+ hours worth of moves.

well there are some strong opinions here. Can we try and be a bit more encouraging? I dont like some things about Darkko films but these are minor and more down to my own tastes. Just watched Darkko's Evil Creampies scene with Adriana Chechik and was blown away with the POV camerwork. Does anyone know how he achieves those in your face POV shots where she is holding her legs back and what camera or lens is used? Is the performer wearing the camera on his head? That's because the video quality of his movies for the past couple of years has been terrible. His old movies used to be smooth, good framerates, good lighting etc. but he suddenly decided to change cameras & compression techniques, so now his movies have choppy/juddery video quality and strange oversaturated colours/lighting. Why no one can see this, is beyond me.
He voiced his frustration with piracy and sales drops several times even here, typically followed by bad grammar and insults whenever someone didnt like the latest release :-) So I wouldnt think things go that smoothly considering the obvious budget cuts of his recent flicks, limited to 4 scenes in one bedroom and same-old performers. I dont think he has to follow the art direction of a dozen hacks on AdultDVDTalk at all, but as with any brand, acting arrogant towards ones own customers is always a lose-lose situation. Imagine a public page of any business, be it a restaurant or a company, where a customer voices his dissatisfaction with the product or service.
