Hey Guys, I read in a couple of porn gossip sites that Jules Jordan is leaving Evil Angel. Some people say he is going to Anabolic and theres a picture of him with Chris of Anabolic on LukeFord.com. Then I hear some people saying that he might start his own distribution and cut the percentage that Evil Angel is taking from him. Either way I think he is a going to make even more money. Tell me what you guys think about it.
If this gossip turns out to be true, it sounds like bad news for EA and good news for Anabolic. IMO and many others at ADT, I'm sure, Jules Jordan is one of the best Directors around at present. I would like him to stay at EA, only for the reason that he has made a number of classics under that studio e.g. Ass Worship and Flesh Hunter lines.

Just like a free agent in sports, Jules Jordan is going to get a big fat contract and a huge signing bonus. Remember Shaq being an Orlando Magic free agent and then going to the Lakers and making them a powerhouse. If Jules get signed to Anabolic that would save that company from being mediocre. As of right now Anabolic is below newer companies like Zero Tolerance, DVSX, and Platinum X. THEY NEED JULES to get some credibility back in this business. So I do feel Jules has the right to check his options like a free agent in sports and may the bigger contract win.

i would personnaly like jules to stay at evil angel as they are one of my favourite companies. But putting that aside, jules jordan is easily one of my favourite directors and i will follow his work no matter what label he is under.
I would rather prefer if Jules would join RLD. It would make it easier for me to follow his updates as I buy almost every RLD DVD anyway.
He could also teach the other guys how to dress up the girls best! This is my only criticism so far for RLD. And give them some glasses too. Especially in connection with facials.
The only way that this would make any sense would be if Anabolic were giving JJ ownership of his movies. The fact that he wouldn't give ownership of movies to any of his other directors is the reason that they all left Anabolic in the first place.
It would seem like a pretty strange turn around to me.
Hope we can hear from Tricia, Jules, or A/D on this matter?

Jules going to Anabolic? Very interesting indeed. I don't understand the whole concept on either side. The reason why Anabolic lost all there great directors is because they refused to give them ownership of there own product. That is why Red Light District, PXP, ZT, and other companies are kicking ass. Once again the purest form of capitalism produces the best products and values available to the consumer. Maybe Anabolic has finally woke up! It is a shame for them that they had to wait until they lost all of there other top notch directors. Maybe one day we will see all simultanious releases from Anabolic.
I noticed the rumor about Jules Jordan maybe leaving Evil Angel. I think it was posted at SetGo. And then I too noticed the odd picturs of Jules with Cal of Anabolic. So, I kind of came to the same conclusions but this is all speculation. If Jules left Evil Angel for Anabolic I think it would be a good move for them but a bad move for him. I just think his style of pornography really fits in better with everything else at EvilAngel than it would anywhwere else.
Let me repeat what I all ready said: this is all just speculation. I don't really see the need to speculate anymore about this until it is confirmed. That being said, a better topic line for this thread would be "Jules Jordan leaving Evil Angel?" as opposed to the seemingly statement of fact "Jules Jordan leaving Evil Angel." However, that is just nitpicky on my part.

Anabolic faced a situation where all the directors stood together and said we want this ownership deal or lose all of us. So it was a tough situation to cough up great deals to everybody. Now Anabolic can pay Jules the big contract and give their other directors Wanker and John Strong smaller contracts. Just like the Lakers paying Shaq and Kobe the big money contract and give Brian Shaw the veteran's minimum.

Hey guys, until it is officially confirmed by any of the parties involved, (all of whom read ADT) it is a bullshit rumor. While is would be nice if someone would confirm or dispel this gossip , they're probably having too much fun reading all the rampant speculation on this thread, much as I did when it was rumored last year that I was signing with RLD.
While it is curious as to why Jules would consider leaving EA, he's a great shooter and a good guy. Whoever signs him up would have a real ASSet to their company!
Of course this is a "Rumor", now ask yourself a question if your Jules Jordan,should I leave Evil Angel were I own my own product,and make tons of money or should I go to Anabolic and just work for a budget,if you notice in that LukeFord post,Jules is standing next to a Mercedes benz,I think he is enjoying making allot of money,the only people at Anabolic that drive Mercedes Benz are the owners,I would be in shock if I heard anything different from Jules,I would bet he stays at Evil or the only thing he could do is start Jules Jordan Productions and sell it himself,and take it from me,he doesn't want that headache,Jules, listen to me stay right were your at,the grass is definally not greener on the other side of the fence,and for you Mr Tom Byron,things would defnally be better for you at Red Light District,for a million reasons.

Wow, the great Dion answered the post. Dion what if Anabolic gave Jules ownership on his product and take a low percentage like only 10% and Jules gets 90%. I think he would take it. Also by the way you wrote that comment to Tom Byron, it sounds like he doesn't own the company.Dion might know he doesnt own the company and it is still Rob Black's Company. Because you don't ask the "owner" of the company to go RLD unless they are not really the owner.
In the first sentence he tells Jules that owning his own company is a pain in the ass and not worth it. So why when he tells Tom the same thing does that mean Tom doesn't own the company? It seems that he's saying "Tom, when you learn owning your own company sucks, come over with us..."
Plus, Tom can't be more adamant that the company is his; and I, for one, have no reason to disbelieve him...

Jules leaving EA would be stooooppiiidddd!!! He's got it made over there. This rumor makes no sense, but it's kind of fun all the same. :-)
For the record, owning your own company doesn't necessarily "suck" - It IS a lot of hard work and can be a real "pain in the ass", BUT, if it succeeds, the rewards and sense of satisfaction and accomplishment make it worthwhile. Remember, I've been down this road before - Extreme enjoyed REMARKABLE success it's first coupla years out the gate. I 've had the unique benefit of seeing how to make a company work, and what to avoid to make it not work, so I think Evolution has a better chance than most.
I could have taken the easier road and joined up with Dion and the boys, (believe me, I thought about it!) but the thing that makes my life exciting isn't necessarily JUST making good porno movies and quick cash, I like a challenge. I like to nurture new talent. I want to have the last word on the direction of the company. Evolution gives me that.
Time will tell whether I've made the right decision, but given the great buzz about Evolution and the incredible amount of re-orders I've been getting, I think I'm off to a damn good start...
RedLight is kingshit right now. I think that is pretty obvious. However, RedLight puts out their certain kind of product. Jules puts out his own brand of porn. Tom Byron, Capo, and Thomas at Evolution are putting out all of there kind of product.
I love RedLight, Dion, but I honeslty think it is better for porn that Tom decided to start his own company. While I do personally think that there are getting to be too many companies, I think that is still better than too few. It gives us all options as consumers and keeps up competition between companies so creativity won't be stunted by unrivaled success.
I look at this way: The WWE was much better when WCW was still around to compete with them. Once they became a monopoly and literally bought their competition, things went south quickly. They are still reeling from that.
What has that do with anything? I'm sure you can figure it out.

By the by, I had no clue that Byron joining RedLight was ever even on the table until now.
As for Jules, I still stand by what I said earlier: he's good where he is and until we hear more about this in the way of confirmation of fact than I don't really want to speculate.

When I first got in the business at Elegant Angel,Tommy was already there,I've watched allot of porn in the last 7 years being in this business and I think tommy is probably the best gonzo director to date,okay right up there with Buttman,what owner wouldn't want Tom Byron,I would be honored to have him,but he did the right thing,he started his own company,and I think he will do great,I just want him to know that he is always welcome at my company,hey I 'm happy with the success of Red Light district,and I know it could change overnight,so that is why I always try to get the best people out there,I believe Tommy owns his company,he has know reason to lye about that.
