Those guys at Jules Jordan are infuriatingly tight lipped about new releases, un-necessarily so I think. Theres one thing keeping fans in suspense and quite another to keep that suspense rolling for what seems an eternity. There have been rumours circulating for the last couple of months about three titles in specific; Feeding Frenzy, WAD and Ass Worship. Last months AVN ad procelaimed 'coming soon' whilst not giving anything away cast or scene wise...this month I return to AVN magazine expecting to find out more about these releases...only to discover I have another (what feels like 1000 releases in front of them to get through)and we only get a glipse of two cast members for WAD, no mention AT ALL of the other two releases...this is too much guys, enough! If you dont believe me check out how old the thread for Feeding Frenzy 10 is on this board...come on guys stop pulling my chain!!!! I have to say the 1000 releases in front of these three films I touched upon earlier all look decidedly average...to add insult to injury.
I think that JJV is trying to find it's regular release groove. Since adding new directors and aiming for monthly releases from all of them things have likely picked up in the "management" of the whole operation. Which is why I think there tends to be some delays and irregularities. I'm sure it took Stagliano a while to get his groove as his empire grew.
The Riley in question would be Riley Evans. I've really been liking her stuff even before she started doing anal. Having her in a JJ release is just icing on the cake for me. As for his release times I agree with axisfury. I also seem to recall that his last release"Black Owned 3" originally started as "Once You Go Black" in AVN. I'm sure a release goes through many changes before we see what actually gets into our hands. Maybe Jules is still in the process of completing WOAD and hasn't filled his cast out. I'm just glad that the quality of the product from JJV has been so consistently high from every one of his stable of directors. Chris Streams has been impressing me a lot since he came over to JJV and he has never failed to deliver in his releases. I see he has a new release due out soon and am wondering what sort of focus that movie is going to be. As well Erik Everhard has another installment of Anal Cavity Search coming. The only thing about the adverts that really bug me is that I can never figure out who half the cast members are from the pictures we are given.
I agree with Franko. I really wish we would hear more frequent information about titles like Feeding Frenzy. Are there any plans for Feeding Frenzy 10? Who's the cast? When is it going to be released (what year)?
The problem I see with not getting things posted early enough is that it could in fact be bad for business, in that they could be building bigger sales by building bigger suspense by putting up the trailers and boxcovers earlier. Who knows?
I know I'm probably in the minority, but I think it's kind of cool when they do the "Oh, by the way, we have a new movie coming out, in just another week and a half" bit. It makes it more of an unexpected surprise. Not that there's anything wrong with announcing movies earlier. Excitement can build while studios little by little post different trailers, stills, and the box cover leading up to the release date. But it is also possible to be really excited about a movie when it is first announced, but have your enthusiasm wane by the release date to the point that you just put it in your rental queue instead of rushing to buy it on the street date.

I think that JJV is trying to get the customer in a groove of going to their site everyday to check on new releases. I personally like the way Evil angel does it, usually giving about 4-6 weeks notice on new releases with trailers and cast lists, but JJV still is a great site and yes, I check it daily to see what's coming next, hence the strategy works.
^ I disagree that the strategy works because I just don't bother checking all the time. They don't want to keep us in the loop or spend the time to promote and liase with the fans, then I won't be in a hurry to seek them out. They have built up quite a healthy ordering regime from distributors based on past success, but that doesn't mean they couldn't do better. Evil still has the most effective model of releases and keeping the fans in the loop.

In the past we used to look forward to new Jules Jordan stuff because he brought us never before seen stuff namely 1st anals. The tight lipped approach worked. Now we never get 1st anals from Jules Jordan, they use the same girls over and over and a lot of the stuff is previously released compilations / scenes. Dog
Me -- I'd prefer that Jules expend his creative energy and resources in making original porn rather than squandering it to keep his website updated. There's only so much time in the day. As long as Jules gets his company's titles to market, I'm going to watch them. Knowing about them in advance doesn't mean much to me one way or the other. I've been watching "Weapons of Ass Destruction #6" this week. If Jules keeps putting out hot stuff like that, I'm a happy camper.

The more that good directors work with the same good performers, the hotter the scenes they make together turn out to be.

I'm loving the girls they're getting...the top girls in the industry IMHO. I wish Feeding Frenzy 10 would come out soon or at least some information or clue to who the stars are but I will keep waiting patiently. Since it's been talked about Praise the Load 1 & 2 have come out and NCDA 10 so they have been releasing some great movies in the downtime. Everyone knows that Feeding Frenzy is the premium blowbang series though. I just think they're perfectionists over there and they want to make sure it's all ready to go before they satisfy their fan's anticipation with any information. I suppose the element of surprise and finally discovering who will be in Feeding Frenzy 10 will really be worth it when we learn who the girls are. I'm thinking it's going to be shocking and outstanding so I don't mind the wait. Really, it truly is suspenseful.
Thanks, heres hoping 2009 is a better year jules jordan wise as 2008 was lame lame lame...those guy rely way too much on the brand and not the product.
