| LCF All-Star Member Non Prevalebunt! 10364 Posts 1/05 | Posted - Nov 3 2013 : 5:40AM I don't know what are the agreements , but for JJV he was just a performer , not the director nor the producer , he may or not have had percentages from the related sales but he had relatively limited earnings , in fact he was also performing for Dogfart and other JJV productions (Julia Ann for example) Now he is director and producer chooses his own cast (although I believe he had the last word on JJ choices already) and although may sell less than at JJV he still may earn more being the producer. Also in the old Mandingo series at WCP he often worked with black female talents some of which were stunningly beauties (i.e. Misty Stone)a thing he didn't do at JJV Also although I admit JJV are superior products and I never had the impression JJ interrupted a star while she's getting off (or acting as if she is) forcing a change of position (I saw this with Chastity Lynn in Mandingo Teen Domination 2 for WCP he interrupted her at least twice).I have to say that in some of his older works the camera was held by a so called Dianne Devoe , now I suspect she was actually director Diana DeVoe , a great director believe me , underrated she is , but I found that many of my favourite scene were directed by her either as a part of the bunch of directors collectively known as King Midas or uncredited for websites. Some favourites of a series I just found out were directed by her and now I discovered that she also held the camera in some of my favourite movies. OK she wasn't the director, but if you have a cameraman you trust completely who also knows how to direct well it usually ends well if there's no competition between the two.
