And since JJ also thinks so highly of himself as a performer and puts himself into every scene, it's all very rehearsed. Actually, there are no reasons for differences in quality. I think it's more likely that they're deliberately shooting for stock. And that's how scenes simply pile up. [Link]

But if JJV would publish an old scene with Rose now, maybe some members would say: "Rose? Who is Rose? Who cares about scenes with girls who haven't even been active for many many years?" I guess many pay for porn to see current girls, girls they find interesting. And that's why old scenes with girls to whom customers have no "connection", sometimes are not so interesting. If I were to make a list of my Top 100 scenes of all time, JJ would make up a disproportionate amount on that list. I'm pretty sure I've said this elsewhere, but for me, Jules has the Midas touch. I can't name one scene he's been involved with that I don't like. Sure, I may not be interested if it stars someone I'm not really interested, but when I see a star I like in a JJV scene I know it'll be something I enjoy. I also get the point that most people chase new scenes. I do that too. And for younger people, seeing porn from 15 years ago probably has no connection for them. I'd still love to see a wider availability of the entire JJV back catalogue though. And since this is my fantasy, they'd all be remastered too. Yeah, I know that wouldn't be worth the time, effort and money for JJV to do this, but a guy can dream. [Link]

I certainly don't need to feel a connection with a girl or follow them, because they're "current". Most porn careers are fleeting at best.
