I'm here. Sorry I've been out of the loop. I had a week of dog/seudo-friend bullshit and then I left to sign in Denver for Zero Tolerance at the Sex Show in the Romantix Stores booth. Although I may end up rescuing a small female chihuahua from the kill shelter wednesday morning and evaluating a dog that was badly burned with acid, for Melissa Monet. I hope your next week and birthday party goes well. I appreciate that you want to rescue dogs from kill shelters, but even rescuing one here and there leads to 20 dogs under your care -- expensive and also illegal in some areas (so is burning a dog with acid, that guy deserves a torturous place in Hell being fucked up the ass nightly with Satan's pitchfork -- while people like you that want to rescue them deserve a special place in Heaven). I hope you find a good home for that puppy, but be warned that you could end up with it for life along with any other rescue you do. I had to learn a long time ago that you can't save everyone and everything, life is cruel like that! Also, if you rescue that chihuahua, remember that they require small kibble food (or soft), not the large-kibble Purina that large dogs eat. Iams makes a good small-kibble food -- I don't recall the name other than Iams, but my sister's chihuahua loved it.
I have 4 small dogs so I have plenty of small kibble. The dog I searched for and found has a new home already, so she is set.Four dogs is my legal limit and I'm very aware of that.
