I assure you Mayflower Studios (the company that runs ECG, BRCC, HMF, BBCS) are doing just fine by doing what has worked for them the past 15+ years, I don't think they nor the actors care about breaking a little bit of that Disney magic nowadays, we're better connected than we've ever been before, so watching these "casting" scenes requires a bit of suspension of disbelief. The scenes at BRCC still get millions of clicks and it's still one of the biggest debutante sites in the world, that iconic black couch ain't goin nowhere
