| Fireyfox Member 233 Posts 4/02 |  Posted - Dec 18 2002 : 8:39PMOrdered a couple of dvds from Adult Dvd Empire a few weeks back but unlike previous orders which were sent via mainland Europe, this packet was sent directly from the states with green custom form. Seeing the value declared, HM customs seemed to have gone stamp crazy and stamped "CHARGE" all over the packet (FIVE stamps) along with a large sticker telling how much the charge is. On the sticker it also states that the charge MUST be paid before the package is delievered and it must be returned to HM customs if not delivered. Fortunately for me, I wasn't in at the time and my usual lazy and casual postman couldn't be bothered to take the item back or even leave a card through my letterbox. He just left the packet outside my door and off he went. Now I just wondering if Custom will try and chase me up for this £10 even though strictly speaking I didn't receive the package in person or even have it thrown through my letterbox? [Link] |

They pay there taxes in there own country so you be never suprised about tax payments. We pay 19% tax on all goods in the Netherlands so you can be sure you NEVER have to pay tax in your own country.
