I was never really a HUGE Jenna fan (I always had a thing for Racquel :-)), but I definitely knew of her as she rose through the ranks to the top. And, of course, she's a babe. Reading her book opened my eyes to a lot of the adult industry that I didn't know or had misconceptions about. I don't know too many people who have had such an adventurous life (for good or ill). It was interesting to get the female perspective from the inside of the industry. The part about her getting arrested in Toronto and accidentally kicking Nikki Tyler in the head was especially of interest to me as I was in the club at the time it happened. It's good, even years after the fact, to finally find out what the hell happened! I read the Motley Crue bio a while back and it gave me the same sort of vibe: you'll never look at the author again in quite the same light. The main difference between the two bios (to me, at least) is that Jenna's seems to end on a happy note whereas the Crue's seems to end on a sad, pitiable (is that a word?) one. Two thumbs up for Jenna's book. Anyone interested in her life or in porn should take a look. Lots of nudity though, so beware if you're SO or family are around. :-) [Link] |
