I've read elswhere(?) that to get easter eggs on JM DVD's all you have to do is highlight the chapters menu designation, then with your arrows, press right, right, down. Then the JM logo will highlight(the little blue thing you mentioned). Simply press enter from there.

I wonder if it's the same for this one, and it also just routes to it when idle for some time. I don't know, but you might try my suggestion.

Can't you just slip your DVD into a computer DVD Rom and go through chapters using the index feature in any DVD software player?

I'm not sure what you mean as I've never viewed a DVD on my computer.

But I assume if all of the chapters are indexed when doing it that way, then that would include the easter eggs. sounds like a good idea to me.

I'm not sure what oatmeal means by this. I have powerDVD on my computer and I have never found any index feature like that. DVDs show menus just the same as they do on a standalone player.

I think what he might mean is this. I have a PBC button on my remote for the stand alone DVD player. If I hit that, it will turn the PBC off, and show how many chapters the disc has. So I just go through each one until I see the scene that is the easter egg.
