They were smoking in their prime years. The perfect time would have been when that first sextape was released to make their pro debut. Their scene isn't making much noise at all, I remember when that sextape was released it made a ton of noise. TMZ was following them down the street asking about it the fitst time. TMZ or mainstream outlets have seem to make not a single mention of these girls going into hardcore. Maybe it pays off to brazzers, maybe it wont. I'm sure their scenes will be pretty vanilla. Mostly just 1 on 1 with the same typical male talent. I'm sure no IR is gonna happen with brazzers. Funny these chicks at one point both preferred black men, only dating them , and were well known black guy lovers, but still you will see no IR under that contract. I would suggest though working out and getting in the best shape will give brazzers the best payout. If they can return ever so slightly to their former selves.
I think their first Brazzer scene was bound to be a disappointment because the hype was so high that it would have to be epic to meet expectation. My fear is that none of their subsequent scene will ever be memorable or all that good and here are a few reasons why.
The first is that most of us had a picture in our mind of what Karissa and Kristina looked like and that picture is more than five year old now. It would have been very different if they had been two unknown twins trying porn because none of us would have known what they once looked like and would have accepted their appearance for what it is.
The second reason is that their heart will never be in it because unlike most other women who do porn. These women have a certain level of celebrityism that they could have parlayed into doing some thing other than porn so why are they doing porn?

I know it's been almost 10 years since that sex tape came out, but damn... Whatever happened to them...
I think the debut was terrible. They have supposedly been shooting scenes since last December, but they only released that one debut vid. They totally could have presented it so much better which makes me think these studios really just produce porn for themselves so they can watch the girls on-set, but they don't care much about presentation. They should have released more of a BTS type of vid first. Interviewing them, and then following them onto set for their hair/makeup while interviewing. Then move it into a pre-porn photoshoot. And then slowly get into the BTS XXX action. INSTEAD, their first scene 'treachery' is just two 50 lb overweight unrecognizable Shannon twins that get straight to the action the first minute. Absolutely terrible.

Funny thing: is one of the most viewed scenes on the site this year (number #2 to be more specific) with Madison Ivy and Riley Steele debut (come back scene) at the top 3 so... I guess for Brazzers it works very good maybe...

And something important: their contract with Brazzers is for less than 8/10 scenes so it's not that you will see them working all year and they have already said that afterwards they will not be in the ring, so it's just a test and goodbye I guess...
Apparently the death of her costar stopped or at least delayed the first scene with just Kristina.

Well I guess that scene never gonna come out now so 3 days ago she was shooting with Alex Legend so maybe they're changing plans... As far as I know they have both debut in Reality kings made, both 1st G/G scene with Bridgette B., scene with Seth Gamble in Babes and scene with Xander too (not both) no scenes with Keiran Lee yet...

I think the disappointment with the first scene reveal mostly was not about the performance nor the extra pounds. IMO they are still very attractive and the hottest twins in porn and had they been no-name twins who just showed up on the porn scene there would have been no disappointment nor negativity.
The disappointment came from the fact that most pervs only followed them while they were on raunchy playboy magazines and tv shows, we didn't keep following them on big brother, botched and whatnot, so with all the changes by the time they showed up on brazzers we couldn't recognize the girls anymore and that meant we also couldn't really get that celebrity sextape rush of seeing someone whose face we'd seen for years placed on the pedestal of tv/magazines/internet doing something so dirty we didn't expect. I wish I'd watched their latest reality tv show just before the scene released just to really get that celebrity sextape "OMG I can't believe she did that!" effect again.
Thinking of the Romains I assume brazzers shoots all sorts of stuff, some of which won't be seen until the political climate becomes more amenable.
How is it that Ortega sisters interact with each other and even shot a g/g scene and american sites release these scenes without fear yet Brazzers didnt dare release the Romain sisters one?And now in the Shannon twins case it seems they wont even touch each other.And for gods sake will Brazzers release any of the plenty scenes they did?It's been two months.
^ I could cope with that, although I don't really like it myself. What really turns me off, though, are the boob and ass jobs. When I look at their areolas, there's hardly a nipple left. Both women look so artificial to me... I had a look at their first two scenes, but I just can't get myself to like what I see. I think I'll pass on whatever is to come next...

It doesn't matter if they are still Brazzer contract performer if those already released videos is all they have shot and all they will shoot because at this moment that is exactly what we have so can we really say that they are still with Brazzer? They went off on twitter and had a rant aganst various pornstars included Brazzers contracted actors.I remember them twitting that Abella Danger had yeast infection for example.I dont think Mindgeek liked it.Ever since that happened no new scene of them emerged.
Twins are always such a disappointment in porn, I find. You want them to perform together, but for obvious legal reasons they never do. So it means you usually end up watching two reasonably hot women being fucked next to each other. It's always a case of so near and yet so far.
