It's true that many women shave their armpits and their legs but that is a choice and I would argue that it's often a male point of view of what constitutes being feminine being imposed on them as opposed to women doing it to each other. I would also like to point out that if hairy armpit smell more than shaved ones then why do men not shave their armpits as well instead of using deodorant or antiperspirant?
