Agreed! It seems like many porn companies usually hire newer girls, but once those same girls are around for a while, then they start hiring a new batch of newer girls and kinda forget about the ones who have been around longer. Umm dont think so, I dont believe agencies would be able to pull off something like that. They would only care about asking companies not to shoot with some girl if she left while still under contract without paying fees for bookings they got for her. SkynTalent uses 1 year contracts with 10% fee for each booking and since they got her zero bookings chances are she was basically free to go. Self booking can work if you're super hot, have experience and know producers/directors - Darce Dolce, Eva Lovia are good examples. Regarding Katie, better question would be if directors are interested at all, regadless if she's with an agency or independent.
