Katja, I hate to throw more questions at you in this thread, but after listening to your interview with skronker and your decision to get behind the camera to direct (even though you're not retiring from performing in front of the camera) I have a few suggestions:
1) Pardon my ignorance in advance as I do not know how the industry works in Germany (contracts, etc), but after hearing about your work with Katsumi (who appears in both features and gonzo, I think) I was wondering if you would consider casting either Vivian Schmitt or Tyra Misoux in one of your productions? Of course I have no idea the style/genre you want to create with your productions, but a scene with you and either one of these women (or all three of you together ) might provide some "heat" (at least on this end anyway).
2) I know you and Melissa Lauren were both featured in American Dreams and Out Numbered 3, but I was wondering if you and Melissa could double team Julian or another lucky stud in one of your features. Just throwing out ideas, but a nice extended g/g tease/scene, followed by b/g/g would be hot. If you both could verbally dominate the said male performer during the scene (you speaking in German and Melissa speaking in French) that would be a nice touch as well.
If not Julian, maybe Jake Malone? Jake seems like the type of performer that could oscillate back and forth between being dominated and then dominating as the scene takes place. Or maybe Jake could use the second idea for one of his movies? It's late and I'm just throwing out ideas In Medias Res an insomnia bender.
Anyway, you mentioned you like horror flicks and you've probably already seen Audition. If not, give it a look. The first hour is a bit slow, but the last 30-40 minutes makes up for it.

Language is taught so much better in Europe, and dialects are bred together much easier (Italian & Spanish, for instance). I wouldn't be surprised if Melissa and/or Katja knew each other's language?

It will be hard for me to cast German girls for my movie because I don't live in Germany anymore. I live and work in Southern California and that's where Katsumi and I shot our movie. As far as I know both actresses you mentioned Tyra (Magma) and Vivian (Videorama) are under exclusive contract with different German production companies. I asked Tyra two years ago at the AEE if she wanted to come to L.A. to work but obviously she is not interessted.
Melissa is a great performer and of course Katsumi and I like her very much as a performer and as a friend. Right now we are in the stage of looking for distribution for our film and that's the priority for us. Once we have a good distribution company we will continue shooting and making more movies
I haven't see Audition yet but I will check it out. Last thing I've seen on DVD was "Red Eye" which was pretty cool because Cilian Murphy is one scary guy. LOL
Being a married couple that does porn is not the conventional way of how people usually look at marriage. Of course it's not easy sometimes but you really get used to it. The truth is that most performers don't even know who they are going to work with but for sure there are only few people who can pick or request their co workers. Katja, thanks for the response. I had a feeling Tyra and Vivian were under contract, but I saw casting on those two web pages so I wasn't sure. Adding to my confusion was I remember Reene Pornero doing a few scenes here in the states a number of years ago and I think she is another Magma star.

I don't think you grasp the concept of business -v- pleasure, and the fact that the both can mingle and/or take priority over the other? :)
I really don't care if the guy I'm working with finds me attractive, if not he better be a gentleman and not tell me. Even if I'm not their type guys usually like me anyway because they know I'm easy to work with, don't give them shit, help them out if necessary and they can go home early. I don't find everybody I work with attractive but I'm a professional and you will never know nor will the guy.
I have fun during my scenes but business comes first. Today my call time was 9 am, I had to get up at 6:30 shower, shave, enema and do my make up... That's the business part because I don't get satisfaction from getting up early.
Porn is not just about the sex which might be satisfying. But also it's about being on time, making it thru heavy L.A. traffic, finding the location, thinking about a millions things like a copy of ID's and test and the clothes they asked for... this makes the business part and that sometimes matters way more than anything. You guys only get to see the scenes that actually get shot. You don't have the slightest idea how many scenes don't even happen because people don't have their business straight.

I try to explain to "buffies" what life is like on the railroad, and why we have a union to protect us & our interests.
